There's no way to know for sure, but with the July 1st deadline coming it is definitely possible that at least one in-state applicant will decline. Who knows the circumstances surrounding last-minute spots opening, but last year the very last in-state applicant to get in off the waitlist was notified the day before orientation started. Do you have any acceptances elsewhere?
