Sitting at OOS WL #28, I have this misguided thought that I have a chance

Withdrawing from the WL. Hope this potentially helps one of you out there❤️

Withdrew from OOS waitlist. For future lurkers, I started at 87 and ended up at 42 (as of May 23rd). Best of luck to all of you <3

Talking to a friend who applied last cycle, seems like there still may be some significant movement for the OOS waitlist

Any guesses on how much more movement for IS and OOS?

Posting for a friend -- any chance there will be OOS WL movement over the weekend? I know there are various CTE deadlines next week. Any insight is appreciated! 😭

For future lurkers, started OOS at 44 and ended up at 4 when I withdrew

Does anyone know if there is a GroupMe for admitted students? I know that there's a Facebook group but I got locked out of my account for some reason.

For future lurkers, I started at 28 on the OOS waitlist and got off the WL in late June. For those who are anxiously awaiting WL decisions June of next year, I'd advise you not to fret too much; it ain't over till it's over!

Future lurkers: started at 41 on IS waitlist and ended either in the low 20s or high teens (I can't see anymore since the WL dissolved). Remember, though, starting soon there will now be an 80% IS threshold instead of 70% IS, which means IS WL movement pace and/or size may increase in future years. The opposite may happen for the OOS WL.

This is an 80% threshold for people who are from IS Iowa or strong rooted connection to the state or the school. So if you did your undergraduate there, but are not from Iowa there would be preference there
