I appreciate your sincere opinion on this. Genuinely, guys, I may not have a choice! If I don't get above a 26 on the 'CAT, they won't even look at me anyway at LECOM Bradenton, as lowest MCAT accepted there is a 26. Right now I'm looking at between a 25 and 30 on my home tests but I have bombed a couple and the test is one week away.IMO, it's definitely a good idea to do as much research and get as many opinions as you can about the schools you're interested in; however, it's also important to try to approach each interview with an open mind and really form your own opinion...as scpod said, the schools that sounded good on paper/SDN may not click for you in reality, and vice versa.
LECOM-Bradenton was my 8th choice before interviewing...but after learning about PBL, I realized I could really see myself thriving there. In contrast, my "number one" school just left me feeling kind of bland. Definitely listen to your intuition in this process.
I really, really regret getting in so late this year. I waited until I had my DO letter when I could have been much more efficient in this process...live and learn!

-ville, that unsettled queasy feeling in stomach
from studying OPTICS AND WAVES all morning, and more scoring/testing. Fun Fun.
I don't have a copy of that report, btw.
True? Can Wikipedia be trusted on this? I don't know much about the validity of Wikipedia stuff.
Actually that sounds EXACTLY like my med school odds! It's completely arbitrary which schools have been giving me love vs. not so much.
