They just took my picture. I saw what my ID will look like on the computer, but didn't walk away with it in hand.
Thanks for all the other advice, everyone. I think I found a pretty good apartment-unless anyone has anything horrible to say about Royal Villa (in which case you will crush my soul a little, so even if you think its a crap-hole, please say "wow, I've heard wonderful things 😛) But seriously... if anyone has any advice about the place, tell me now before I sign a lease 🙂
And JRjcu08: good luck apartment hunting later this week, if you have any other questions let me know as it sounds you're about to take the adventure I just had the past 2 days. I do think I'll end up at Royal Villa. I'm on a waiting list, but he said its like 10 people and he knows about 20-30 are leaving so I'm pretty much guaranteed a spot. So if you check it out and like it and put your name in on Thursday, you should be fine. There's an application and a $7 fee, but no biggie. It's a little pricey, I think, but better than the Laurel Ridge and Laurel Springs that are right across the street. Also, the pics online of the kitchen are a lie 🙂 But I don't cook sssoooo I'm not really concerned. I'd say if you're looking for roommates, check out the stuff on here and our facebook group? I haven't even had my own bedroom for the past 3 years so I decided to cough up some more money and live completely alone this year, but the guy said Royal Villa typically has quite a few LECOM students and thats what I wanted to hear so I'm pretty excited. 🙂 But seriously, anything else you want to know: ask. Clearly, I'm pretty chatty. So I'll stop now. I look forward to any questions though, I'd love to be of assistance 🙂
