I know the waiting sucks, but at least you can rest easy knowing that is he not making calls right now. So I heard last night that you dont like the movie Dumb and Dumber..... WTF????? That is very strange of you... And bring Murphdog wherever! The next time I come up there to go hiking, I'm bringing my dog. I actually hiked up to the Pinnacle and to the actual Cumberland Gap yesterday from the town of Cumberland Gap. I'm gonna post pictures a little later once I get them all on the computer. Oh, and Prions and Cassrae, I got some pictures of our new place. Would you like me to PM them, post them here, email them....? What?

Oh, and we always take our dogs hiking with us. We like to let them run around and do as they want. Not really supposed to be we haven't had a problem.... yet.

Yeah, thats usually what I let Sadie do is just run around, but she stay pretty close to me, and runs back whenever I whistle or call her. Shes a good dog. 🙂. I wish I would have taken her yesterday, she would have had fun. Oh well, Guess I'll just have to go back up there.... 😀

Thanks Marthea, I've now lost all my coolness points with Rose 🙁 He let me slide with my Jeff Gordon fan-ness (is that even a word???), but now I'm afraid I shall never recover. Why do you get so much joy out of my pain??? :cry:

Haha, thank doG you've seen that movie... One of my favorites along with Dumb and Dumber.

Its ok, I'll let you slide on Gordon. I just like giving you a hard time about it. I'm a Ryan Newman fan when I get to watch a race, but honestly, I could care less who wins. As long as its a good race, I'm happy.

I'm glad you forgive me with Gordon.....I love when people give me crap with him....it makes me laugh. I'm so used to the bashing, especially from my wife (a Jimmie Johnson fan) and my late uncle (Dale Sr./Jr. fan), that I have fun with it. Newman's a good guy...I like him. Really the only people I truly dislike are Jarrett and Kurt Busch. Kyle Busch is beginning to grow on me a bit....i hate his personality, but dude can straight up drive. My #2 guy is Tony Stewert....I love that guy...truly an awesome driver and an awesome human being.





P.S. I think you read my post wrong, I have not seen Super Troopers......yet

Hey, you've got to go with what makes you happy. I can't help it. Also, I've never seen a nascar race in my life and I never plan on it. And I am totally ok with that.

I'm sure Marthea will make me watch before then.....otherwise she might kill me....or beat me up and then kill me.....yeah, that's it, she would get much more enjoyment out of that.

Well, I just spoke with Paul Carney and my application is basically on pre-interview hold....aka polite rejection. 🙁 So sad, but if I don't get in anywhere else this year I am reapplying next year with a higher MCAT Score. :meanie:

Yes, yes, my reading skillz escaped me this morning. You shall be shackled, whipped, then marched around the town square...errr.... the DCOM lobby for your misdeeds to humanity. That is all.

i talked with carney yesterday....yes stowers is out of town, and no he hast not met with him yet on any of the results from the interviewees from 2/29 and up until this week.

he will be meeting with stowers he said "hopefully" monday 3/17...
remember, stowers has to sign off on all acceptances ...then the phone calls and letters can go out... looks like all of us affected are going to have to wait until next week.

hey i didnt see Lincoln memorial university in the interview data base. how was the interview, laid back or tense. What type of questions did they ask.

hahaha, that **** is so freaking hilarious! I'm hoping that I'll be able to go to the show. I can remember if I asked my sister to buy me some tickets or not... I need to talk to her.
 
1. Runner: I was offered an interview after being on pre-interview hold, so it isn't necessarily a rejection.

2. Am I the only one who doesn't think that guy with the puppets is that funny? He has his moments, but I don't love him the way a lot of people seem to. My roommate made me watch one of his specials, and I wanted to stick a hot poker in my eyes about halfway through. My roommate has a ****ty sense of humor.
 
TT, thanks for the little bit of motivation.

Also...my dad and I watch Peanut all the time. I think he is hilarious. :laugh:

no you're not the only one... my friend made me watch one of his specials too, and I just didn't see what the big deal was.. and I like to think I have a pretty good sense of humor. (my friend, on the other hand, does not)

I mean, I'm not falling in the floor laughing every second of his show, but it definitely has some funny parts.
 
so, what is eaten more often...pumpkin or sweet potato pie? you know, since tenn is kinda the south. i like both very much, as i just ate half of one and half of another. BEAST!
