You are out of your mind. Its probably a southern thing. It should be called "sugar pie with pecans", but it is tasty.

This is true. There's a little mom and pop place around here that makes a delicious chocolate pecan pie, but you're lucky if you can finish one piece. That thing SO sweet. Although I did see a kid eat 3/4 of a pecan pie in one sitting, pretty sure he died a little that day. Although not as much as the day he tried to eat 40 wendy's chicken nuggets in one sitting. He went a little blind, then said his heart hurt, then went to sleep for a while. It was interesting to say the least.

lol thanks 🙂.... I was preparing for the interview i have, and i am having tough time getting info about the school since its new. I am worried about the interviewer asking me a question why would a person from NY want to go to lmu? and me not giving a great answer

I wouldn't worry too much about them getting at you because you're from NY. We've got students from all of the US. Would you be happy living in a rural area? Maybe you've just heard such great things about the school and the students that you think it might be a great place to go. It really depends on you. Have you read through all the interview feedback? If you haven't that'd be a great place to start. Good luck! 👍

Haha.. so besides the fact that we rock hard, here are some other things you could say.

Great positive student atmosphere with caring faculty
Amazing technology that enhances learning
Great location in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains with plenty of opportunities to participate in outdoor activities and be involved in the community as a new and growing school
Great Facilities
Prossection instead of full dissection in anatomy lab
State of the art SIM lab
More hands on opportunities through community hospital rotations in 4th year
More cool SDNr's in the class of 2011 than you can handle

How did most of you 2011'ers move out to TN if you were moving long distance? I've been looking up U-Haul prices and it's damn expensive! Almost $1200! Also, there are no one-way car or truck rentals from CA to TN!😱

I might have to do it the Old fashioned way . . .

Hahahahaha. You should definitely move that way.

And I was looking in to the Uhaul and Upack and freaking everything but it was all so freaking expensive. I ended up lucking out because stepfather knew a guy with a trailer so we just borrowed that. See if you can find someone that knows a guy! Or maybe a guy that knows a guy that knows someone?

Although the covered wagon was tempting, as i love history and would like to recreate it, I rented a Budget truck.. had to drop it off in Corbin, KY, 45 min north of Mboro. They are much nicer inside than Uhaul. Try looking up dropoffs in KY and VA too.. since we are really in the middle.

Awww I know, the San Francisco fog gets to me too, although it's not half as bad as Portland rain 🙁 Soak up as much sun as you can before you come home, then you just have to finish up classes and then decide on where you want to go to med school. 😉

You'll pretty much find tons of Titans and Colts fans...that's probably about it. Most people I know really don't care for NFL too much (I prefer NFL), they are more interested in college football because you are required to become a UT fan when you move here
