I love New Orleans. I’ve been several times.

If you’re a drinker I recommend the daiquiri shack (I think that’s what it’s called)

Yo, s/o to whoever mentioned the mailtrack app back when this thread was first started. Sent my housing up 3 mins ago and got notification someone read my email
 
Hmm...maybe I should do an application too. I glanced at the site and saw the place. How do you apply?

Did you all have roommates when you filled out the housing app, or did you apply for the single bedroom apartments?

If we don’t hear back by Friday morning I’m calling. I don’t want us to wait all the way until Friday, not hear back, and then go another weekend with no decision. Especially when we have to find housing, people have to choose between other schools and other stuff.

I think ppl should still be calling now since they never even sent out a curtesy email to let ppl know what’s going on at this point. I mean we all paid our $60 regardless so as paying customers I see no problem with staying on top of them as long as it’s done respectfully. Emails, phone calls, pop ups, etc. ‍♀️

3. The 3.5 gpa and 501 MCAT requirements are changing due to the increased class size. The person I spoke to didn’t give me exact numbers but he said the requirements will be much higher to be able to matriculate straight into the next med class.
4. I asked if the new requirements will be released with our acceptance letters and he said definitely not and it would be released “closer to the orientation date”

Just curious, seeing that the 1st wasn't true, do yall think this means the rest of it was wrong info as well? Cause I'd like to keep #3 the same. Also they've told us so many different things, I don't know what's real anymore
 
Just called. Here's what was said when asked when he decisions would be released

"Ummmmm I really don't know, we're waiting on decisions to be made"

I bring up about they should have been made as they were supposed to go out on the 1st

"i don't know what to tell you, I really don't know when they will be made"

The adcom was probably busy with med and or dental stuff. The admin is waiting for the final list to send out. Makes sense.

It does, I just wish they would have been upfront about this rather than lying and getting our hopes.

I usually call this number and they transfer me. They usually answer the phone that way. 615-327-6533
