That’s so frustrating 🙁( I really wish to hear back soon this is my last school to hear back from in the US
I interviewed 1/28 and still haven’t heard anything. At the end of our interview they said that the committee would be meeting the end of February and we should hear back soon after. So, I’m anxious as well to know when because it’s been a little over a month for me. Are you OOS or IS? Was your interview in person or online?Have those that interviewed in January heard back yet? I interviewed on February 6th and today marks a month since the interview.
I have also had radio silence. I'm not even on an interview waitlist or anything. I emailed to make sure my status was correct on my portal back when people were having problems. All they said was that my status was correct and that they were still working on applications.Just to make sure I’m not the only one has anyone not heard anything back since applying? I called to check on my application status and I’ve been told that it’s still in the process of making a decision. That was in Early February.
I'm OOS and my interview was online. When I interviewed they said it would be around 2-4 weeks for us to hear back.I interviewed 1/28 and still haven’t heard anything. As far as I know, everyone who was accepted without interview was never on the waitlist for interview, so I don’t think so. But, in all honesty, Midwestern has been so confusing this whole cycle, I don’t think we can know anything for certain 😅If I was waitlisted for an interview is it possible to be accepted with out an interview at this point? I’ve seen other people be accepted without interview so im curious
I feel your frustration! I had an interview 1/28 and still haven’t heard anything. My guess is the will reach out this coming week. At least I hope so. Try not to get discouraged, I know it’s hard.anyone going crazy rn waiting. I had an interview feb 6th and i felt like it went really well. But this waiting is making me overthink and question if it went well. I hate this 🙁 i just wanna know if i got into my dream school
I still haven’t heard anything either since my interview 6 weeks ago. If anyone emails or calls them, please share what you find out.Any vet students here that have heard anything from your profs or school about timeline for those still waiting to hear back? I haven’t heard from my interview that was over a month ago. Wondering the overall timeline and when is the latest they need to let us know by?
Thanks for sharing! At least now I can stop saving the travel money and buy my car a new door 😅👍Hey guys so i’ve been waitlisted for an interview since January 11th and never heard back so i called admissions a few days ago and left a voicemail. They just got back to me and said I was waitlisted for an interview however they are no longer conducting interviews and that they will be sending an email out soon. I’m sorry to everyone who was in the same boat.
yes i plan on attending! im flying out march 27 & going march 28! feel free to pm me!!Anyone going to the accepted student day at the end of this month? I am trying to figure out some travel plans but I am wrapping up my MS this month so I may not make it out there in 2 weeks.
Alternate list means waitlist, it’s the same. What does being placed on the alternate list mean if i interview on feb 6th. I just got accepted to Rowan but this is my top choice but idk if ill hear back by April 15th
So will we hear back by April 15th or?Alternate list means waitlist, it’s the same.
Honestly I have no idea. It all depends on where you’re ranked on the waitlist. They pull from the waitlist every time someone declines their seat. I think they can pull off the waitlist until a week before classes start. I’m just not sure how to find out the ranking of the waitlist. So will we hear back by April 15th or?
Really that’s crazy! Okay well hopefully i can hear back by April 15th or I’ll be accepting my seat with RowanHonestly I have no idea. It all depends on where you’re ranked on the waitlist. Is Midwestern your IS school?Really that’s crazy! Okay well hopefully i can hear back by April 15th or I’ll be accepting my seat with Rowan
No but it’s been a dream to live in Arizona and fell in love with what they have to offerIs Midwestern your IS school?
i hear most schools waitlists will move the most in the 1-2 weeks after April 15th. You can still accept a seat later if offered, you'll just lose the $500 you put down for a deposit at the other school before the deadline. What does being placed on the alternate list mean if i interview on feb 6th. So i can still accept my seat and pay the deposit with Rowan but if i get accepted at midwestern i can still accept their seat. Just pay another deposit?i hear most schools waitlists will move the most in the 1-2 weeks after April 15th. Yes. you’d lose/forfeit any money you’d paid Rowan and there may also be other financial ramifications if you’d already signed a housing lease or something depending on when/if Midwestern called you and how much you’d put into relocating to Rowan, but you can always withdraw after committing…that’s why/how wait lists can theoretically keep moving clear until classes start. So i can still accept my seat and pay the deposit with Rowan but if i get accepted at midwestern i can still accept their seat. When did you here back that you were an alternate? Just wondering because I still have not heard anything from them. TBH just waiting for a definite rejection, so I can be 100% sure that I'm going with my plan B for the upcoming year. This is the last vet school that I have to hear from, unless I apply to Utah, but that is also up in the air. What does being placed on the alternate list mean if i interview on feb 6th. waitlist for interview or waitlist after the interview? If Midwestern waitlists you, how do you find out where you rank on that list? Does it move a lot because I feel like there’s a lot of people who are waitlisted?
They don't rank their alternates, it says so on my decision letter. I don't know how they then determine who to pull off of the waitlist when someone declines their seat thoughHonestly I have no idea. It all depends on where you’re ranked on the waitlist. I know some schools will sometimes pull students off a WL with similar demographics to the student who denied their seat. Not saying thats how they do it specifically though. They don't rank their alternates, it says so on my decision letter. Waitlisted after my interviewwaitlist for interview or waitlist after the interview?
Some times in August like every school I thinkWhen does midwestern start classes ?
when I interviewed the guy said they actually rank but say they don’t since people will constantly be asking what spot they areThey don't rank their alternates, it says so on my decision letter. I don't know how they then determine who to pull off of the waitlist when someone declines their seat though
They said after April 15thPlease does any one know if any one has moved from the alternate waitlist (from after an interview) this cycle yet? I was placed and i know it says not ranked or whatever but I don’t know if i should be looking into this other school and paying the fee when midwestern would be my number 1
