Because I'm seeing so many people saying theirs changed at the same time, my guess is waitlisted. But its only a guess. I cant find any official info on its meaning.

I applied last year as well and my waitlist email came in January and wasn't rejected until August when class started so idk

Same situation for me last year as well. I was not on the waitlist until a few weeks after decision day and was then taken off the waitlist in September.

I believe it is a waitlist because you will get an email that say you have to confirm within 72 hours that you would like to be but on the waitlist.

What are your EC’s? Your GPA and DAT are great! I’m surprised you didn’t get an interview based on those stats tbh! I heard Midwestern loves clinical hours and they conduct a holistic review of applicants, not strictly looking at numbers!

I dont think you need to accept the spot on the waitlist because my letter said they just place you on the alternate list automatically, and its your decision to withdraw if you want

I did not have to. It was automatic. The image of a waitlist letter from MWU was either med/vet. Still in the WL now.. and could be a week before classes start. Sent an LOI this week. Fingers crossed.
