If we have to preflip zenge as scum in our discussion and ignore everything he says and vote him for him to town up…I guess it’s an option but I think that sets a toxic precedence and I would feel icky doing it. I hated when it happened to him last game. So I’d rather not unless we have a better read and reason to push him and figure out if he’s scum. Right now he doesn’t feel town to me at all but that’s absolutely based on last game so I think I need more voices that know zenge better to give their reads so I can understand.

i'm comfortable keeping zenge around another day or so, i'm moving him back to neutral read.

Yeahhh I think something might have been accidentally claimed in the thread at this point and it’s unfortunate lol I was trying to avoid it but couldn’t outright explain what needed to be said/not said.

No. Don’t worry about it, we don’t need to get into it because it doesn’t help town unless we actually want the claims outted which I believe, at the moment, we do not.

I'd be most interested in fruit or maybe chic today tbh, the fishing was pretty bad today, and there was some yesterday that has really given me the heeby jeebies

Okay so I wasn’t crazy to think there was some possible fishing day 1 there. That was my read but I got ignored/told it wasn’t. It’s why chic was in my day 1 PoE.

I can't possibly imagine a strong town PR or vig would see this post from Chic and feel compelled to pop up on the thread and post "It's me! Hi? I'm the problem Vig, It's me!"

Like you can't seriously think this is a legitimate argument KJQ?!

If this is fishing so be it. There is information here and I’m curious to explore it. Which two people would want to act on KJQ, perhaps from a somewhat investigative standpoint?

(I guess the looking through files and moving stuff could also be referencing, idk, a scramble or some misdirection, but I am on board with KJQ’s thought that it was a cop/watcher/similar).

It’s definitely how I felt at the time. I stopped it as soon as it was posted so it couldn’t continue so I have no idea if that was the intention or not but that’s what it immediately felt like to me.

I feel like you’re trying to latch onto anything you can to push me which makes me feel like you’re not paired with chic.

Clearly I didn’t make up that I was visited in the night, so do you think if I’m scum and someone had info regarding me they would just not come forward with it and get me voted out? I’d like to understand your POV for seemingly trying to sus my every move when there should be some pause there based on what’s been said today. Especially with you claiming PSV pushing me out the gate today was odd yet now you’re here doing the same lol

Ok so you feel D1 wasn't fishing, sure. You did say at the time that post made you uncomfortable. Do you think today was fishing?

Continuing down my little tunnel.

If KJQ’s visitor was a role cop/cop, they have her alignment and should be moving her up or down their reads accordingly, even if it’s just some slight but public nudges.

If it was a watcher, you know the identity of another PR.
If it was a tracker or follower, you know what KJQ did last night.
If an observer, you know what happened to KJQ.

If it was something else besides all this, idk, but you probably still have information that is shifting your reads so I’m going to examine those a little closer as the day goes on.

I think the only way this is fishing is if you believe I’m scum and 2 different town PR that are not bodyguard targeted me yet have no info on me in order to confirm I’m scum and get me out. Because I think my logic makes sense that the only reason to out visiting me is if they watched me and saw another person visit.

In the context of the conversation, she's saying if there's a negative utility town role like someone who just randomly dies on D1, for example, then for game balancing purposes, the mods would put a village PR role in the game that's strong enough/powerful enough/good enough to balance out village essentially being automatically down one player at the very beginning.

How "good" any Power Roll (PR) is, I would say is subjective to some degree.

I was saying the potential direction of conversation was uncomfortable, were it to become a focal point of discussion, not the single post.

Sometimes inside thoughts should STAY INSIDE. What if there's a wolf tracker? What if they tracked someone to KSQ and now they know they could have a good PR and not just like a fruit giver or something?? This is so not protecting village I am not ok

I agree with your logic. In order for scum you to exist in this scenario, you would have needed to accurately decline to perform the NK and two town aligned PRs needed to target you at the same time. Not improbable but I think town KJQ is much more likely.

I think I’m very much in the mind that scum has a janitor and killed greedy in order to hide his alignment and role to push chaos and paranoia. I think they gambled with losing a second kill if there was a vig targeting greedy in order to hide greedy being town. Yell at me all you want for this but I really believe this at this moment. It also makes me want to

If they were a tracker then they would know, from previous conversations and info provided by KJQ herself, that another PR visited her. I don’t see how this is new information.

I’m assuming common implementations of watcher/tracker/follower. Of course ours may be different but typically we try to play the same game, I hope. Watcher sees who acts on the target. Tracker sees who the target acts on. Follower sees the targets actions.

I was giving a broad example of a role that's clearly and immediately recognizable as bad for village.

You trying to make this into some sort of "gottch-ya" moment because you don't think I used the example of a negative utility role you think I should have, is so incredibly twisty.

For the record I have no idea if the people that visited me were useless or not (fruit vendor vs tracker for example) I just know they exist. If scum has a watcher, they already know who the town PR is that visited me so it’s not giving them any extra info since I don’t know the roles or players that visited me, just that I was visited in some way by 1+ people.

This is like a scum claim lol

Explain what happened to me at night if I’m scum. Explain why no one is coming out with info to put the nail in my coffin. Explain why you are so much more against me now that I’ve claimed stuff happened to me at night vs when PSV was pushing me for thinking I killed greedy.

I’m assuming common implementations of watcher/tracker/follower. Of course ours may be different but typically we try to play the same game, I hope. Watcher sees who acts on the target. Tracker sees who the target acts on. Follower sees the targets actions.

You are taking it a step further with talking about who ever visited would be changing their reads and everything. You do not need to spell everything out on thread. It helps no one but the wolves and idk why zenge is so chill

Because zenge is pushing me now and might’ve forgotten what “town” zenge said at the start of the day. (I’m biased though, clearly lol)
