If someone just tried to join, I accidently declined it, I'm so sorry! Please request to join again 😅

It happened again, Ethan and Karsen I am SO sorry. Please re-request 🤦‍♀️

Karsen, if you are there somewhere please PM me. I will need your phone number in order to add you manually 🙃
Apologies!!

Does anyone know how many oos students get accepted each year (% or number)?

anyone been moved off oos waitlist yet?
This year could be different, but in years past they have waited till right after decision day for pulling OOS so I wouldn't expect much till April 16th. After decision day you could also see if Kathy will hint at what your chances are with an email, she'll have a better idea then 🙂

You guys are in the homestretch! Rooting for all of you 🥳

I was 8th on the in-state waitlist and I just got the email that I have been pulled. Fingers crossed for everyone on the waitlists to be getting good news soon!

Accepted students - you can now join the class of 2029 Facebook page!! The moderator will have to accept you first.

Hi!! And thank you ! I am on the housing page. Kaleigh is my name. Can you connect us?

Has anyone else heard about where the IS waitlist has gotten to? Do we know if they've pulled off everyone they are going to?

If anyone is still looking for a place to live for next school year or knows someone who is, let me know! My roommate and I are looking for someone to fill a room in our house. (Ladies only please). I'd be happy to pass on information about the house and my roommate's contact info!
(We are open to people other than vet students filling the room as well - so feel free to send med students, law students, etc. our way too) 🙂

Don’t ever give up. My Son got a call today gauging his interest on getting off the Missouri CVM waitlist. Out of state. He was not even aware he was on the OOS waitlist. He has been accepted to his IS school and said no thank you but calls are still being made. Wishing for good news for more people out there!

Did anyone who was rejected have a file review from Mizzou? If so, was it helpful at all?
I had an application mishap that couldn't be remedied with Mizzou so my app was thrown out for consideration this cycle. However, if prior rejectees received a file review and it was helpful, I will ask in the spring in preparation for cycle #2.

Mizzou does not do file reviews. I asked them last year if there was any info sessions for re-applicants to hear exactly what they’re looking for and the representative told me:

“With over 1700 non residents applied for around 40 seats, it is just a bet competitive process.

Our selected class stats will be available in late spring 2025, you might find that helpful.”

Vampy is correct here! Only thing I would add is that students who are rejected/waitlisted after interviews can get a file review. (At least they could when I applied...I am assuming this is still the case).

Going to further add in to this! They don't do file reviews, however both Kathy and Doug meet with applicants/students anywhere in their educational stage to discuss things to work on/improve etc. This means you can set up a meeting to talk with either of them they just won't be able to pull your VMCAS application and look at it but students that come typically bring there resume and transcripts and they can look at those and talk with you. So no file review in the sense of pulling your application and giving you a list of what to work on etc. But counseling students/applicants on admission absolutely!
I recommend reaching out and scheduling a meeting with either of them, its just not technically a file review.
Hope this helps!
