Mizzou 2024-2025 (c/o 2029 hopefuls)

So if I happen to get an acceptance, is it like the interview sign up where it’s first come first serve and if I don’t sign the paperwork fast enough they could pull my acceptance? Or can I take some time to sign it all, just til the April deadline?
Every single vet school is obligated and required to give applicants till the April deadline. If you do not accept before then then you forfeit your seat as they will start pulling off the waitlist following the deadline.

Just a quick update, I am unsure if this will slightly delay decisions being released if it was going to be tomorrow but we just went remote for tomorrow (potentially Thursday also pending main campus) due to a winter storm starting tonight. Please don't panic if there is a delay, I don't know when but I am sure something is coming soon!

Hang in there, you're in the home stretch 💛🖤
Would you let us know if classes tomorrow are also virtual!? 🙂

I have a strong feeling it would have been today had we not gone virtual, nothing has been said yet for tomorrow but out of caution professors are putting exams online that were scheduled tomorrow. If we get an update on classes I'll let ya'll know!

Monday at the earliest, the person who needs to sign off on them are out all this week. And will be back on the 17th. Granted I don't know if that means they're going to get to it right away, or if it's going to be sent out right away, but that would be the earliest.

I spoke with a rep from Mizzou and they said that decisions would not be sent out this week. It stinks but I wanted to make sure I post in here so everyone is not waiting! I believe the post was a mistake.
Thank you!

Monday is a holiday don’t forget!

I’ve heard that historically they’ve sent out emails on Wednesdays.

Mizzou just posted on instagram that offer letters are on the way and to keep an eye on our mailboxes. Not sure when emails will be sent then if they were referring to physical letters in the post.

Are they just sending out physical letters? Or will there be an email as well? Their instagram post confused me haha!

Does anyone know what time in the past they’ve sent emails out? I have an interview with Illinois today at 4:30, but if this decision is what I’m hoping for it might open up a spot for someone OOS at Illinois.

Same, but I'm not sure if it would seem unprofessional to decline the interview last minute if we do hear before then or if they could even offer the interview to another person... At the same time though, I won't be considering Illinois anymore if I get accepted to Mizzou so I don't really know what to do with that.

I feel like they’d understand! For me, mizzou would be my instate and I think they know that price difference definitely factors in!
