Didnt you say you were attacked. There is enough info to suggest attacks block your ability to vote.

Being a newt blocks that ability indefinitely (it appears so at least) but I was the one cured the first time. So "I got better"

Was re-going through the thread and was wondering about this message stuff. Just curious if anyone else got a message in this game so far. You don't have to share what it said but I was wondering if there are anonymous message floating around and if they hold any truth to them.

This seems like a silly statement. Based on numbers alone, of course there's almost certainly some pre-vet wolves. But that doesn't preclude non pre-vet wolves. And frankly, I think the pre-vets would be more hesitant to try and kill Lissa - we've all seen her pain the last umpteen number of games where she dies within the first two days. The non pre-vet people have seen it in .. what .. a couple lounge games? (Serious question: I don't know the answer because I don't frequent the lounge.)

Anyway, it's definitely not a "joke" here like you said.

I'm not sure why someone is so intent on killing me; first sending me here and now trying to off me, but it's f'in lame. So screw you, whoever you are.

Since I appear to be headed off to Really Seriously Dead Land, here you all go: I'm the village Witch. I can turn people into newts (one per night, except that at the moment I'm bleeding out and can't do anything). And no, I'm not a wolf.

And DocE, yer welcome for saving yer arse. I suspect you wouldn't have remained a newt this long except that I've been bleeding out over here. Good to know that it appears to do something, because I had no clue what being a newt would entail and you seemed as good a person as any to try it on. 🙂
 
Oh, I meant to add, I don't think that ending up here bleeding out is solely from wolf attacks (though I think both Lissa and I were attacked by a wolf, at least). My reason is that both orca and I ended up here the first night, and I think it's unlikely wolves would get two attacks in one night.

My reason for thinking Lissa and I were attacked by wolves is that we were both whacked by a 'knight', and I doubt that it would be a villager role to knock off one person every night.

That's all pretty speculative, obviously, but ... I think it's a good start to presume there is at least one wolf who is a knight. Maybe.

I don't get why it wouldn't be a joke. You guys seem to play so much more social or something. This is WW not kindergarten - boohoo, lissa gets killed early again. Don't play WW if you don't want to get killed on a forum.

Look. My experience from modding games in the lounge with your pre-vet people is that they tend to focus night activities, including kills on people they know which is usually the vets that hang out in the lounge. I think I've hosted about four games now where this was the case. You can call it silly all you want but it's true none the less. Granted, there probably is a lounge player or two in with the wolves but if we're in a situation where we are just guess, which was not this round, then guess pre-vet seem like a bigger money bet.

I think my track record on this kind of thing should be solid by now.

I'll reveal my role to everyone: I am the Rodney dangerfield and my action is to get zero respect.

Because it clearly really bugs Lissa. I get that the Lounge is totally cut-throat and whatever and that's cool, but frankly ... *I* wouldn't take Lissa out very quickly. Sure, it's WW and not kindergarten, but I'd kinda like Lissa to keep playing and getting axed within the first two nights game after game is a good way to get someone to quit.

While I don't think the wolves are only pre-vets, I think perhaps the pre vets that are wolves are ones who have NOT played recently, based on the Lissa kill. She's a good wolf hunter when she actually gets the chance.

Also...have we played with the idea of more than one wolf group? Just based on the number of attacks it seems a possibility no? Unless there is a ridiculous amount of items we do not know about.

I will point out, I brougt the last game home. So I'm not bad at this. And I can be wrong. Was I wrong about lynch veterans *IF* you don't have info?? I thought maybe I was but now that Samoa is a wolf I'm not sure her point isnt a little too self serving and comes without some sort of secondary gain. Will have to sake her for real after the game. She really is up on this game theory stuff.

There's also more pre-vetters than loungers in the pre-vet game. Simply by numbers, pre-vetters are more likely to be wolves than loungers because there's more of them in here to start with. 🙄

I think you said that wrong. Everyone is equally likely to be a wolf, but it's more likely that the wolves are pre-vetters.
 
SOV... not that I'm complaining... but you can close the day round because maybe just maybe there are night actions that are waiting for the results from the day round to decide how to act next?
