Anyone have any input on UC Berkeley? They're doing some really interesting global food and agriculture research that I'm interested in and even have a food systems certificate in their MPH program, but being from the East Coast, and ultimately wanting to work on the East Coast long term, is Berkeley "pointless" in the sense that my connections would be all be on the west coast? Or is the name well regarded in global health enough that I can still do my practicum/post-grad work on the east coast? On their website it seems that a lot of students do their practicum in the California area which is a bit of a turn off to me but I really do like their research! Any input appreciated 🙂 incredibly grateful for all of my choices I never expected to have so many, but wow is this a tough decision process.
