Does Yale conduct interviews as well? Applied in November also. The only interview invite so far I got was from Dartmouth.
Hey! When did you hear about the interview from Datrmouth? Also I haven't heard from Yale about interviews

I do not believe so. I think they said only in very limited/special circumstances if they need to talk to a student about something more in depth.

In regards to Dartmouth's MPH, during an info session, the Adcom stated that the interview was conducted for all accepted students consisting of a 20 min phone call paired with an alumn to discuss fit. Were you able to attend any of the webinars?

Schools will email if your application status changes, right? I don’t need to be logging in and looking at their portals?

This is accurate. However, sometimes portals and email updates can have a disconnect.
If required, Interview info will usually come via email.

Awesome congrats! Do you know anything about how they incorporate interviews into the application process? I was kind of surprised at how soon they were reaching out to interview people.
Not sure yet, my interview is scheduled for next week so I'll see how it goes. When do you have yours?

So people that have Darthmouth MPH interviews are accepted, and the interview is just a formality?

Id like to know this too!! This is the first time I’m hearing this and can’t find anything online. Now even more anxious lol.

Did the interview request detail any specific information to you on what to expect?
I would take a look at this forum from earlier years for MPH applicants and see if you can gather any additional info for reference.

Edit: The interview experience is also discussed in Reddit’s “Dartmouth MPH” search.

The interview is to assess mutual fit into the program. Per the informational session and prior posts in the forum, the interview is casual, paired, and short in duration.

Does Dartmouth offer interviews to all people that it accepts? If you don't get an interview does that mean you got rejected?

I think many schools perform interviews as part of their review process, but as most have stated an interview is not indicative of admission and vice versa. I wouldn’t fret too much if you don’t receive requests to interview.

If anyone has gotten a confirmation email from GW about them receiving your application, how long did it take? I applied 11/25 and still haven't gotten anything.

I applied 11/19, verified 12/2 and got an email 12/6.

I never got a confirmation email either! What program did you apply to? I think the Epi department is super quick to send those out.

I received an email for Emory to set up my OPUS portal today!
Hi! I received an email from them confirming that my application was sent to my department of choice, but they did not provide me with any login credentials for OPUS. I went on OPUS myself and clicked on "obtain a NetworkID" but when I filled it out it said that they could not locate my application. Did you happen to receive yours?

Hi everyone! Any guesses on when Yale and Harvard will come out this year? The waiting is so hard :/ good luck everyone!

In the email it said to wait 24 to 48 hours for your network ID to be generated! Mine's doing the same thing.

Edit: now I realize it sounds like you didn't get the email with the Opus link... I got 3 emails from Emory today (all about 6 hours apart). First was the Opus login link/confirmation they received my application, the second was that my app got routed to the department, and third was confirming they received my financial aid info from FAFSA. If you don't receive that first email in a few days, I'd email them!

I got an email for this today too! Is this a good sign in terms of admissions??
I wouldn’t read into it too much. I think it’s just so you can track your application status as they begin to review apps.

The same thing happened with mine. I emailed them but then reread the email they sent and it said to wait 24-48 hours. I got too excited and overlooked that part haha.

hey yall, I'm having one of those moments where I've convinced myself I won't be getting in anywhere. would anyone be willing to offer any realistic takes on my chances of getting in anywhere? I'm worried about my lack of work experience and laboratory research opportunities. just overall very stressed and would love any advice.

Hi everyone! I have been reading this platform for awhile now, so it feels strange to finally be able to post. Does anyone have an idea of my chances of getting into some of these schools (GWU and Emory specifically being my top two choices right now)? Also curious of how generous some of these schools are with financial aid because I am quite nervous about taking out a ton in loans. I am a bit worried because of my experiences and what is considered to be enough. Any feedback I would greatly appreciate, good luck to you all!!

From the info online and the correspondence the school has provided, mid Feb thru March would be the application update timeframe.

It seems like you are very strong academically and have a great mix of safety, mid, and top schools on your list. I would not worry at all if I were you 🙂

I applied to Tulane 12/1, SOPHAS verified 12/3, and I’ve been accepted today 12/9! Does anyone have any thoughts on their MPH program?
Sorry if you've already posted this, but I can't find it. What was your undergrad GPA/experience? I'm not sure if I should apply to Tulane or not. 🙂

Has anyone gotten a confirmation from UCLA about receiving their app? They are the only school I have not heard back from receiving anything.
