I woke today and my flare is not any better, it's worse. One of the worst flares I've had in a long time and sort of a medical mystery I'm concerned about. I'm taking baby to her physical therapy too today. So participation likely spotty or just at a lower level which really disappoints me. I'll still try to do more than nothing.

I don't mean any of that to be AI, just the explanation for my participation levels today, and also for the folks who like to read about how other players are doing IRL. Personally when we play together I enjoy reading when people sort of drop those personal details in thread especially if it's short or to the side if long.

I'm not dead, Santy or trying to fake I am. Sometimes when we drop really truly not game strat related stuff about our personal lives or whatever like that, especially if it's long, we might put it in a spoiler saying it's not gam erealted or in stars to let people who are skimming know it isn't a strat post. Never seen anyone "hide" something AI in such a post, the honor system for using it as a personal update to friends has always worked for us in my memory.

I’m DJ PON-3 aka Vinyl Scratch. I’m a village music post restrictor. Mods were vague how the restriction would play out but by Dubz’ interpretation, I guess any lyrics. I requested mods send Dubz this video because I know it’s one of sporty’s favorites and it’s a jam. Idk if they actually sent it lol. I chose Dubz because I was a bit wishy-washy where I had her. I also know that post restricting can take away from village play so I chose Dubz because I knew it would not limit her completely and Dubz could still give strong play even with the restriction. I almost chose trilt and went back and forth with the decision (even promising true not to tunnel him next game until D3+ as an apology for switching back and forth). This is due to her knowledge of the show and me reading her as village (now idk anything). I ultimately decided not to since not everyone was reading her village like i was and i didn’t want a restriction To take away her ability to fully contribute and prove she’s village. I know restrictions can be frustrating (this is why I didn’t choose AM or Cray, I figured they would hate it) (this one I figured would likely limit discussion) so I was careful in picking who would be dis courage’s by it and who could also likely utilize it in a creative way, so that’s how I landed on Dubz. I did try to soft hint at you by care reacting your first 5 lyric posts lol. I also made sure to explicitly call it out in my first post of the day lol.

PSV I noted your request and if I don’t die I have something in store for you <3

A really great point about sharing of personal lives bc I also appreciate when players share this context. I’ve never seen scum on here blatantly use their personal lives as an excuse for avoiding thread. That would be scummier than scum.

(although I'll add that DJ PON-3 continues to be a super background/minor character, though beloved in the fandom and I'm happy to see her. Still fits poorly with Cray's role claim of the mane character).

Cuz like, I did research with how was flavored the thing I got , and your character isnt a backround one and its a PR , so whats up with that?

OK seriously, I don't know Santy at all but for anyone who follows MU stuff, is this normal or is he being absurdly sketch?

He outed that I had a role despite me ignoring him outright asking and quietly indicating it - very easy to hold closer to his chest so I'm not a target.

He is throwing shade using an absolutely wrong assumption about that now, saying I'm claiming a mane role where I think it's pretty freaking obvious I've been saying I suspect we have background characters (read the implication about my own role there bruh) literally since the moment MJ flipped and I had a second data point to work with.

This feels like a new player fumbling but he isn't new and I didn't get this vibe at all yesterday. Am I taking crazy pills?
 
I am specifically asking for you to confirm caise the thing I got had a picture of Fluttershy and was delivered to me by a bird . That was the only thing I got and what I have been talking about all the time.

So when I looked it up and see they were a Mane character, and you are saying stuff that doesmt indicate you are that character is that I ask

MU doesn't typically involve flavor in receiving actions, but I don't know if his homesite does.

I thought not, so In my mind have 2 scenarios.

*You are somehow Fluttershy and doing a sussy baka push regarding flavor . (Maybe fake role or smth)

*You arent Fluttershy and what I got isnt from you. In this case I should've received something else from you, which I didnt

Third Scenario could be that you are a background character but your action is carried like if you were Fluttershy, in which case you should understand why I thought you were a mane character and not say all that fumbling stuff

Tying to my comment before all of this began, it's entirely possible that actions may be quiet or inconsistent. If you got one visible result, it doesn't necessarily mean you were visited by only one person.

Fourth scenario, I have a ****ing sloth avatar and the gif you received has a sloth in it (there's limited supplies of those from MLP) and it also so happens to have Fluttershy.

It's night one. I'm not sharing my damn mane six role with someone I have only vaguely village-y feels, but sending a quick gif to someone who feels village and had some suspicions they were beginning to verbalize about me felt like a decent use of a minimally useful ability.

Instead you yeeted me, outed me, still haven't given your justification for my initial yeet (besides a very half assed attempt at saying it was because of the stoat kill, when there were others both higher on her list AND that you'd previously listed suspicions of), and have gone from just outing I had a PR to all out telling the thread what I could do. This is ****ty ****ty play if you're village.

I think that was just a risky assumption. Unless the ability specifically said "your target will be notified" or "loud" there's always a chance anything could be silent.
 
This is why I'm typically uninterested in mechanics solving, for the record. Too many what-ifs for it to be beneficial for my solving.

I specifically said 'I got something'. Meaning that the user of the role gifted something to me, so it would obv notify the target.

I'm just going to throw out that I'm highly uncomfortable with the number of people who have already claimed, whether necessarily or unnecessarily (or outted by others). I really don't like it and I think it's going to make figuring out who's fakeclaiming much harder.
