When did I say that? I said I'm more comfortable with them now but I'm certainly not comfortable enough to put anyone in my village pile right now.

I was saying I was weirded out because given the number of vouches and the way they were worded, the most reasonable conclusion is that there were too many people who likely had seer roles. With the new info from EM (which I believe can be trusted about that info), I no longer think that's the case.



I did think there were other explanations and I said that in my post. I just thought they were less likely than someone either lying about some aspect of their ability given statements that were made. Given what EM said I think there's an ability or two in play that I haven't seen before and am still trying to figure out what exactly they are.

Okay sorry, I just wanted to get more of your thoughts surrounding this. That makes a little more sense, for some reason when I read some of the posts initially I thought you were saying only m### could cause items. And was slightly confused, but I think it may have been just me being slightly slow.

So I'm finally back (woke up from a glorious nap) and can respond and give some thoughts.

Does anyone have any thoughts about the green-color and purple-color transmissions and narratives that have been posted in this game? It seems as if the green color text is a reference to villager, and the purple color text is a reference to chaos.

Is there a possibility that a player (who died earlier in the game and seems to have been forgotten) has returned to this game?

For instance, Ski was identified as “Marvin the Paranoid Android.” Ski initiated her own self-destruction on D1. In one of the mod transmissions, we saw a series of visual images showing droids, and the droids did not look friendly.

Would she be able to return as some *thing* different in this game (had a “faulty switch” at the beginning of the game but the faulty component didn’t become fully disabled and has since then been repaired)?

Two things. First, I do NOT think that Ski is secretly back. In past noob games there have a more experienced players whose role is to play just to die D1 so every noob gets a chance to at least play a full day and night. Considering her role was "Ritual Sacrifice", I think that's what happened and I think she is still dead.

Second, based off of write-ups and some of the game mechanics, I think there is a chaos role. We have the microbe or infection or whatever this post-restriction is. While post-restriction certainly can be village, it tends to not be. It is possible that it's a wolf ability, but it's also possible that it's chaos given the game balance (which I will talk about shortly) and the effect of it (which seems to be to cause chaos). I also question the transmissions. There have been some which seem to have parts that could be helpful to village, but there are also some which seem to have no discernible message (like the one with the daleks) and seem to be there just to make us aware that they exist. Idk if there is actual meaning behind those, but given that this is a noob game modded by Dubz, I think the presence of a chaos role is likely.

ETA: I will talk about game balance after lynch. Seeing as we're starting to get close to lynch though, I'm going to wait because I'd like us to focus on catching a wolf (or chaos) without too many distractions.

killerleaf did not die on D1. So, I'm wondering if killer avoided death on D1 because she was immune to a microbe? Any thoughts about this @killerleaf?

I think this is unlikely for reasons stated above.

Here is a summary for everyone to see:

1. Dolphin claimed she was first infected by a microbe on D3 (i.e., Saturday).



2. Ziggy asked her to confirm that she was infected, and Dolphin said yes, she had been infected. Before then, ziggy had been the last player who claimed to have been infected by a microbe.



3. On D3, ziggy posted some unintelligible comments and visual images (i.e., Ziggy Marlowe "Everything's Gonna Be Alright"and "Could You Be Loved - which appeared to have been directed to M935, Cops show theme song, Missy Elliot, "Lose Control" song). Everyone can go back and look at those visual images and songs because they're too big to post here.



4. Ziggy had also said she had been undecided about voting [e.g., to lynch mutt (wolf) or emlady on D3] and went back-and-forth on her voting on D3.


5. On D4 (i.e., Sunday), Dolphin claimed to be infected and was posting unintelligible comments, and seemed to have a post restriction.







5. According to the microbe infection tally I wrote above (see post no. 1575), Dolphin is the most recent player infected by a microbe (she is the 6th player on the list, after ziggy, emlady, shelter, grebes and pickles who have all claimed to have been infected by a microbe).

6. On D5 (Monday), Dolphin wanted to lynch Barkley.



7. ziggy asked Dolphin to answer a question about going back-and-forth on her lynch vote between Barkley and MSU.







8. Since changing her vote to lynch Barkley (and not MSU) on D5, Dolphin has not claimed she has been infected by a microbe or had any post restrictions (maybe she can't come back, or she's busy in real life, don't know and will have to wait to hear from her).

It may just be an honest mistake but I was infected on Sunday, you said D3 at first and then D4 and just didn’t want there to be any confusion. But yes I was infected and said I had to speak incoherently, so I literally just followed suggested words on my phone. And used gifs without words when I felt they could convey the message best.

And yes for the lynch exchange you referenced, I lynched mutts bc that’s where I wanted to vote had I not had a post restriction. But I could see from the thread MSU was also in the conversation, I hadn’t really decided where she was as far as wolf to village. So I was trying to indicate by lynching and unlynching that I could swing to MSU if it ended up being necessary, or if something happened to push MSU to wolfy.

But no sense voting for Barkley I’m not post restricted, that’s definitely a good thought process, but I am definitely not restricted again thank goodness.

I was just curious if it was possible. Only due to how Shelter has acted recently, as I said before she was very talkative, helpful, actively wolf hunting and forward, but recently was more quiet and was tentative to fully answer anything related to her connection to Em, where once Em logged in she gave way more information about their connection, but still Shelter seemed to say very minimal about it. I feel like if there was a rule that could "control" another player that it would make sense.
Granted could just be a bunch of tin foil or Shelter could not have noticed that she wasn't answering parts of people's questions or just due to the holiday bustle as well. Just has bothered me.

As far as my leans at this point go I still am having a hard time, I tried going back and look at the days surrounding the night if poss conversion and the players I was looking into most Killer, Dr., Em and Barkley said very little that stood out to me to make notes of/has not helped me make a better decision, and due to the holiday I don't have a lot of time to actually go back and read the forum for those days so I'm working on where I think I should put a vote tonight - while my boyfriend gets more and more annoying about me taking a few minutes to do so.

Ah, I see your confusion (which is actually my fault). I did not understand that you had to make an item one night and use it the following night. So the first night, I was able to make it and give it to someone, which they could then use the following night (I think). On N2, I made a protection device that I thought I also used that night, but apparently I did not. When I made the kill device, I was told that it takes a whole night cycle to make it, then you could use it the following night.

Basically, I am learning stuff as I go since this is my first game. I initially thought I couldn't use items myself and had to give them away (which was why I gave it to pickles instead of just using it). Then I thought I could use them the same night, which I then found out I couldn't.

So yeah, the confusion is totally understandable. But it's not because I'm chaos, it's because I'm a total noob who didn't read all the rules or any previous games before starting.

Yeah, your post dropped my suspicion down a lot. I'm still not totally convinced because that's exactly what grebes, mutt, and pickles did, so you'll need to convince me more that you're just trying to piece things together. But you've been skeptical for a while and have been actively hunting wolves.

But no, I'm not chaos. Just inexperienced. I'm village, and I think it's pretty obvious since I've literally done nothing that would hurt village and have actively hunted and killed wolves.
