Thank you, just found out today that I am provisionally accepted as well. If anyone has any questions pertaining to the interview, feel free to pm me.
Congrats to all the acceptees!!!!!
Congrats to all those who are already accepted.
May I ask your interview date?
Congrats to all those accepted! I have my interview coming up and had a question. It seems like most people stayed at the Comfort Suites, which is where I will be as well. I looked on Google maps for restaurants and stuff, but it didn't seem like much was around. What did you guys do for dinner? Did you rent a car or get a cab? I'm wondering if i should change my hotel. . . I'd love to hear about others travel/logistical experiences. (And about the interview, too, of course! 🙂)
Hey guys, I need a little help. For the life of me I can't remember by Webstar ID. I was wondering if it is something generic like first initial-last name, or like AACOMAS ID, or something. Thanks for your help.
Alright, that sounds good. Thanks for your help Droogdoc. You have to make your own, it wasnt assigned. At least not for me. So if you forget you have to call the NSU Helpdesk number listed on WebStar. Happened to me once.
ha I think we have all received strange things from NOVA, I received financial aid information after I scheduled my interview.
You answered your own question. If they ask "Do you have any questions?" and you say, "No, they were all answered by the website." You will appear uninterested. Go google interview etiquette. GOOGLE. IS. YOUR. FRIEND.Please Help... do you really have to ask questions at the interview, all of my questions are answered via the website or reading this site please help me I do not want to appear uninterested,![]()

Since the county has one of the highest numbers of HIV rates in the country I asked them about that and both of the interviewers expanded on their opinions about that which led to more questions. Something about general health in the area is good bc that is more for them than the students can answer. Hope that helps. Good Luck!
Correct me if I'm wrong,
100%. you need to pass the exams to graduate.
However, I recall hearing 75-85% pass the first time around?
When talking to all the kids their, they all help each other study and I got a great feeling about everyone getting through it together.
First time pass rate is ~6-17 point below the national average?? I dont think so!! Nova's first-time pass rate is around 95%, got this from a current student. If there pass rates were as low as you say, I think there would be some SERIOUS problems witht that school.
Anyone applying for the DO/DMD dual degree? If so, any additional info available?
I asked this question during my interview day, and the student said its between 90 and 95 percent. They also give a second chance for the students that do not pass it. IF they fail the boards the third time, I think they are kicked out of the school.

what?
very mature way to respond.
this is a forum intended for students to help one another, no reason to attack anyone. I was trying to be helpful and merely didnt recall what I was told in my interview.
Anyone who was accepted last week to Nova received anything official in the mail yet????
I am not interested in "attacking" anyone. I was merely pointing out a fact that you were misleading people with falsified information, either intentionally or you were terribly misinformed. Don't you want to be sure before you cut your patient open ("be helpful")?
I just received the official letter of acceptance today. Too bad, I am all the way in Florida for school that I can't even look at it for another month 🙁
Nikon you need to relax, he made a mistake and he realized it so if you feel like flaming someone, go flame somewhere else.
certainly.
i don't remember who said it but i was told all that information while i was interviewing. AND clearly i was wrong, and i apologized. obviously it wasn't malicious, thats not why i check this website every couple hours.
why wont you just let it go? give it up bud.
I take it the letter was sent to your home in Maryland. Since I am in Illinois hopefully I will get it tommorrow.
Uggh Nova was the first osteopathic secondary I turned in and I am still waiting for a possible invite...😱 ahhh the suspense! Anyone else have a really long turn around? This may just be normal for the school but I am not sure..
I feel ya KG, I have been complete at LECOM-B and NOVA since the beginning - middle of August. Still hopeful for an interview. I feel like I am probably a low numbers applicant with both those schools, but I try and send positive vibes their way everyday.
I'm just thankful I have other interviews to pass the time and get to visit wonderful schools in the mean time. I think I am in the acceptance phase of the "hurry up and wait" process. Each day that I go without any correspondence from schools doesn't affect me as much as it did a month ago. Good luck!
