does anyone know if NSU sends you "pre-interview rejection" updates/emails?
I've been complete here since August/September and the lady I e-mailed says I've been complete and under review... but haven't heard anything since.
I hope my application didn't "get lost". In-state, My GPA is, okay... 3.42s/3.42c and >10 on all sections on my MCAT.
Should I call for status check?

Yes, you should call. You should've gotten an interview with those stats.

Thanks, I just called.
The lady I e-mailed in September said she received my new MCAT, but webstar might not update.
The person I spoke with on the phone said they received everything it's a waiting game from here. He was very nice and offered to take a look at my file (as I probably sounded worried). I double checked about my new MCAT score. NADA!
He then retrieved the new score and now it's with my file. Hope to hear back soon...

I was curious if you needed to have a DO rec or a committee letter. Has anyone gotten an interview before they submitted their DO letter. My reference is taking their time writing it for me
I had a LOR from an MD and I was interviewed/accepted- so I would say no...

😱 Oh WOW!! Really????? I thought that they stated you needed a DO rec? I have a strong MD letter. What were your stats if you don't mind me asking. I am applying with 3.8/26m. were your numbers high to where they did not care? Should I call them to verify?
I think the committee is meeting today to make decisions for the applicants who interviewed a week or two before. I'm one of them.

does anyone have an email for someone that has actually responded that they could post or pm me? I need to update them that I won't be completing two planned courses I listed. I emailed anastasia and the hpdadmissioninfo email and got no response. I called and was told it was ok but i would really like to have something in writing.

Try just [email protected]. It usually takes the guy answering this address 2-3 days to respond, though, but it's the only one i've had any luck with.

that's awesome man and gives me hope. I just fully completed my secondary and LORs two weeks ago. I have a 3.67 cGPA and 3.74 sGPA with a 27P MCAT. Also have very strong ECs, so that def gives me some hopes. I was afraid I submitted waaaaay too late and that I was screwed. Good luck to you!

I also submitted my secondary about a week ago, oh man....if CMED12 didn't get notified 'till now, does that mean we will not hear for many months?
Some postings from earlier years mention being invited about a week after submitting the secondary. All my letters, signature page, and secondary were in on Friday....I guess nothing I can do now but wait 🙁
CMED said he wasn't fully submitted until a couple weeks ago, so he heard in about a 2 week time span. Hopefully we hear something very soon!
I submitted the first week of October and just got word yesterday, don't give up hope

For those of you who have done your interview or are currently M1, M2, etc...... What is the surrounding area like? Any of you have a family? Good area's to purchase a house or rent a decent house? Elementary Schools in the area. Obviously the palm beach-Fort Lauderdale- Miami area is quite big so I don't mind driving a little ways to allow my family to be in a good area. Thanks in advance!!!!
I called today to check to make sure they had everything and they said that they said that my recs haven't made it to my file yet.
Anyone who is going to the experience day on 12/9, what's the difference between this and the traditional interview day? and Are you getting there early on the 8th?

I've been complete since AUGUST!!! 27Q mcat 3.8 cgpa and 3.6 sgpa. Masters program and tons of EC's.
I've called twice since august.
I emailed an update and sent in an additional LOR. They are still telling me i'm "under review" and have to wait 😕
Some people hear within a few weeks and some don't. sigh.

Hey guys. So this past weekend I received an open container citation which is an infraction here in California. I have a scheduled court appearance next month in which I will be pleading guilty. For this question would, I just answer "No" for now and update NSU about it later? Thanks.

You're all set. Once it's up and your undergraduate committee releases it to the schools you requested, schools can then access it anytime they are ready. But I would email them if webstar doesn't reflect that within a few weeks of submitting secondary
OOS. But I didn't think that made such a huge difference?
At the top of the page is the interview feedback link, you can find school specific pages with questions asked in the past. Just click on view survey results
