I just sent in my first four secondaries and I'm really not proud of the essays I wrote. They're grammatically correct and they answer the questions asked but that's about all I can say for them. I used my best material in the AMCAS and I just don't have the motivation to go through the whole brainstorm-draft-second draft-feedback-third draft-etc process ad nauseum.
I'll have up to seven more secondaries to complete soon and I don't want to them to get progressively worse. Any ideas? How are you guys dealing with this?"
Don't be lazy!!! It feels like soooo much effort now, but think about how much you'll be kicking yourself in the butt later if you don't get an interview where you really want to go and that could be the reason. You've gone through four years of college, eight hours of an MCAT, and the AMCAS...why quit now? Make these last few as good as the first four years of prep. Talk to a friend who got in last year and is just getting ready to go to the school of their dreams, and hear how excited they are and see if that motivates you. Sorry if this sounds corny, it's just too important of a time to slack now.
