9/4/25 (email) UAB, Interview dates 10/16 or 10/17
They typically don't! For example, notice how UAB, LSU and Houston all have overlapping dates. Candidates with invites from all of them will likely have to drop 1 or 2 of them to attend their favorite. Once those spots open up then the residencies can decide if they want to send out another round of select invites.Do Houston and LSU send out multiple rounds of invites?
Boston UniversityBU is buffalo or Boston?

Thank you! Around 9am this morningcongratulations on tennessee! Around what time did you receive the call?
They are Zoom dates spread out over the month and you select from the options that work for you!Does anyone know why Rochester is doing over a month of interviews this year/how that works?
The email I got stated it was an in person interview. They are Zoom dates spread out over the month and you select from the options that work for you!
Do you know if the interviews are one candidate per day? or a typical group interview like other programs. I think it's super interesting that it is over a 1 month periodThey are Zoom dates spread out over the month and you select from the options that work for you!
Might have changed since I interviewed! Apologies for the misinformationThe email I got stated it was an in person interview.
Mine was just me and the faculty in the evening for about 30 minutes or so! Sometime like a few days before the interview was a zoom with the candidates and all the residents.Do you know if the interviews are one candidate per day? or a typical group interview like other programs. Just received a interview at Case Western. Interview Dates: 10/29th afternoon or 10/30th morning with social on 10/29th evening
Same boat my friend. I feel as if I am an incredibly competitive applicant and haven’t received anything yet. I applied broadly. Had great references. I really don’t know what to do or how to feel.Is anyone else in a position where they haven't received many/if not any, interviews? I am getting worried because my advisor expected me to have more interviews at this time. Just wanted to see if anyone was in the same boat as me. Please let me know, thank you.
Same boat! Starting to get a bit anxious as well but I’ve been told there’s still a lot of time so fingers crossed🤞Is anyone else in a position where they haven't received many/if not any, interviews? I think it means you haven’t been selected, but some say schools might send more invites if ppl dropI am an international dentist. I applied only to 2 schools—UCLA and Rochester—considering they are non-match and accept international graduates. I did put MATCH registration in there, which I signed up for by mistake. I have not received any interview yet. Considering the interviews are out for Rochester, does that mean they did not like my profile, or are they sending out interviews in batches? Does signing up for MATCH affect the application to non-match schools?
I really thought this cycle wouldn't be too crazy, I was thinking a lot of people wouldn't be applying this cycle because of the stuff happening with student loans but that doesn't seem to be the case. Seems like a really competitive cycle. We all just need to keep our heads up!Is anyone else in a position where they haven't received many/if not any, interviews? Yes I have heard it is bad to skip the social. If we do not attend the resident social for a program, do we have a lower chance of matching to that program?
Hi, most candidates apply to both match and non-match programs, and programs are well aware of that. Even if they don’t particularly like it, it’s not something that prevents them from inviting you to an interview. If you didn’t get an invitation, it’s usually more related to your CV than simply mentioning other options. So stay positive—and keep hoping for UCLA!I am an international dentist. I heard yes, since residents have a voteIf we do not attend the resident social for a program, do we have a lower chance of matching to that program?
Yes, definitely too soon to worry. More than 60% of programs still haven’t sent out their invitations, so it’s far too early to judge or feel disappointed. Also, you don’t necessarily need a large number of interviews to match, sometimes just one late interview can be the one that works out, while having many interviews doesn’t always guarantee acceptance. What really matters are the final results, not how quickly the invites come in. Hang in there, it’s still early, and things can change quickly! Is anyone else in a position where they haven't received many/if not any, interviews? It depends on school, city, state. but on avereage 400!I wonder how many applications schools typically receive? And how many interview invites schools actually send out.
Feeling the same way! Hopefully something soon 🙏🏼Same boat my friend. I feel as if I am an incredibly competitive applicant and haven’t received anything yet. I applied broadly. Had great references. I really don’t know what to do or how to feel.
