Dammit! Someone made of two weeks out thread. You’ve already got this 2024 thread. I thought I was supposed to make random threads of neuroticism and support!!
D

The mods will probably merge it.

If I am lucky enough, I will go ahead and make a “multiple acceptances, class of 2024” thread in a few weeks. Spice it up.
D
deleted804295
Yeah that'll most likely get merged from what I've seen in past years.
It'll also be pretty obnoxious and hurtful for people who have one acceptance/ no acceptances
D

Theres a sub forum dedicated to that on SDN

Oh right. Darn. I just wanted a thread. We may proceed.
Merging oct 15 thread with this since the c/o 2024 are the ones going through the cycle and this is a good place for y’all to talk about all this stuff.
*From another thread but didn't want to derail it*
Memelord/ @Mr. Dr. Prof. Patrick you're only 24?!!!!!
How?!!
You mean I'm older than you?!!
I legit thought you were like 40.

Y'all out here thinking a 40 year old is naming himself "memelord" and "mr. dr. prof. patrick"

Why is everyone thinking I am some kinda old? I guess it is a good thing that I stopped telling my “Father at 19” story all the damn time lol
D

It's because you're married with a kid.

907914
Really though? That doesn’t explain the thoughts of 40? Lol

If you're a parent, you're 60+, sorry i don't make the rules
I get the opposite all the time, especially now at interviews, mostly about my looks "You're an NP, you look so young!!" Or "Wait, you graduated when?! You seem so young!"
My inner girl wants to so badly smirk and say "Well, that black don't crack baby..." But I need that acceptance so I just say "Wow, really? Thanks!!"

Lol, thanks for pointing it out... I totally see it now.

I randomly started laughing on my drive to school because I remembered Walter's 2nd WAMC where he got ticked at Goro because his second school list didn't include "superstar" schools.
Goro comedically retorted when asked why the change in lists "I expected you to do better last time"
Hahaha.

Funny thing: My daughter will be in college before y’all’s kids are even in kindergarten. This medicine thing is a time sync.
Don't remind me that I haven't saved for kids' college and won't be able to until they are in middle school 😕

I will just give my daughter out of pocket (not savings) whatever the current value of the GI bill is. If she wants to get fancy and go to some non-state school or pay OOS tuition, she can pay the difference.
D

Or get a scholarship!
9
907914
Exactly lol However she can pay the difference.
I’m giving my kids 50% each of my GI bill and will pay for the rest if they go to a state school. If they want to go to a super expensive school they can get a scholarship or loans for the rest lol

Nine more days until decisions can be released.this is like so relatable it's kind of sad

Emphasis on the can. No one should be upset if you don't hear from anyone ON the 15th exactly. Not worth stressing over the date. When the day comes the day comes.
LOL MOOD
