I'm new to this....but my current AADSAS status:

Nova Interview on Nov. 12th
Ohio State: Recieved/Complete
Pacific: complete...waiting for review by committee
UCSF: Recieved/Complete

none of my other schools have updated anything on AADSAS

It was the same (3.6o/3.5sci). I already graduated from college...I am taking a year off and enjoying the process!
 
4.0 in grad school and 3.2 undergrad.
my last name is all the way at the end of the alphabet and i mailed everything a few days after the cycle opened.

Congratulations. I applied to San Antonio as well but I'm from California. So I have a couple of questions. Are you a Texas resident and when was your mailing date?

Yes, I am a Texan and my mailing date was June 16th.

I'm hoping it is because my app is somewhat late that I did not get an interview this time :xf:😳

Hey CAN, my mailing date for NYU was 7/9 so I'm pretty early applicant.

Hope we can hear from them soon 🙂
 
But it doesn't seem like that many people got interviews from NYU yet. More will come out soon I'm sure! :xf:

and NYU applicants get accepted even if they are interviewed in February, so it should be ok 🙂
 
nothing from NYU yet....mailing date was July 2, got the Application Complete email the same time as everyone else too =(
 
hey everybody im bored studying anatomy so i thought i throw you all a bone here...... at my school the tour giver had a say who got in (even though it was a student).... so be sure to treat everyone as if youre being judged haha

NYU interview invite today via email! 😀

UF interviewed already in early August
Louisville interview late September
NYU interview late September
Midwestern (AZ) interview early November

my mailing date was July 2, and I already submitted my Canadian DAT scores by then too, and my Application Complete email was dated August 10.
Fee submitted the next day after I received the email asking for it too...

I also got my "App Complete" email on 7/23. The reason yours was delayed is because you waited to send your fee. NYU does not require that you wait for them to contact you regarding their fee. You are actually asked to send in the supplemental fee as soon as you submit your AADSAS app. Shouldn't make a difference considering you applied so early, though, so don't stress about it.

I am guessing everyone who got an NYU interview thus far is

In the first batch? 7/2 (maybe some second also?)
and got their app complete e-mail 7/23

I don't think it is the turn for anyone 7/9 (?) or 7/16 mailed with app complete e-mail 8/10. Unless someone can say otherwise?

I am so nervous!!!! I wish I could just call NYU right now and ask them if they made a decision..this wait is killing me!!!!!!!!!!
 
wahooo!!! received interview invite from Iowa on 8/31. Need to fill out the supplementary and schedule an interview...I definitely support the Hawkeyes.

So far I've received interviews from two schools - UMKC and Iowa.

I got an email from buffalo saying...

"Following initial review by the Student Admissions Committee, your application has been placed in "Continuing Review." This category is used by the committee for those applications it is not prepared to take final action on at the present time. All applications in the "Continuing Review" category receive periodic review."

Is this email basically a rejection? Do I have any chance from this Continuing Review position?

Anybody else got this?????
 
I got the same email from buffalo. My friend told me it means they will wait to see other applications, and if you are competitive relative to the other applicants then you might receive an interview, if not you will probably get rejected. But idk what it really means

my mailing date was 7/9 (sorry CANgnome) and i technically got the email yesterday at 4 but i didn't have internet in my apartment until todayso i got it today haha 😀😀😀
im soo happy NYU was one of my top 3!
 
Anyone else hear from University of Minn.?
I got the email invite for interview yesterday. I know I can't be the only one. My status on AADSAS changed to "invited for interview" today.

I am pretty stoked about it!😀
 
I just got the continuing review e-mail from buffalo as well 🙁
