**Official interview invite/ rejection/ acceptance thread: 2010-2011 cycle**

U of M invited me for interview on the 15th of this month.

Also, I got my first rejection today from UWashington. 🙁

I kinda knew it was coming since I'm not from Washington, but still...

Waiting for rejections from Baylor and UT Houston... 🙁

Just heard from OHSU for a pre-December interview. They notified me by email with phone # to call. Interviews are M,T,Th, and F. I took next Thursday the 18th. Kind of soon but I wanted to get it done before December. Good luck to everyone else that applied there!

🙁 Sorry to hear that. Yeah, Alabama is a big time long shot if you're OOS...which I am. So, I'm just waiting to see any update on AADSAS. Ohhh well. Have you any invites from other schools yet?
 
Univ. of TN- App completed mid Oct, interview offered 2.5 weeks later for Nov. 19.
 
Washington gave me a secondary application yesterday by e-mail. Better late than never.

Out of state.
App submitted beginning of August.
 
Midwestern Illinois for Dec. 2.

It's kind of crazy since I am international and they gave me less than 3 weeks to arrange my travel plan. Still pretty happy about it tho
 
Got the call from UOP yesterday, scheduled for Jan. 20th. Stoked!

I got the invitation email on October 28th. They had scheduled me for an interview on Nov. 11th and 12th, but I wanted to interview sometime closer to Thanksgiving. So they actually had created a new interview date (not because of me) on Nov. 21st and 22nd. Admissions told me that is the last day they interviewing prior to Dec. 1st. Hope this helps and good luck.
 
Postponed my Western interview until after winter break, so hopefully that will free up a pre-Dec 1 interview spot for a deserving predent!
 
Sorry, I know this isn't the place to post this question but it's sort've an emergency: For those who have TUfts interviews, do we need to bring anything apart from the supplemental form?

I already had my Tufts interview. You don't need to bring anything else but the supplemental form.

How/ Where did you get the supplemental form? I got interview invite from Tufts as well, but I never receive the form!

I think you'll get it in the mail 1-2 weeks before your interview. They will also attach a pdf version to the reminder email you'll get.

Declined my VCU interview so hopefully somebody else who has worked really hard will get it. :luck:
 
Interview invite to Michigan Nov 19th AM session. Also I had an interview last week to Maryland. (Such a sweet school!). Best of luck if anyone else is in Michigan the 19th. I'm OOS for both. Denied at UW (even though I'm IS) and at UCSF.

Even though Marquette is listed as a private school, half of their class is made up of Wisconsin residents (sorta like UDM). So, I guess, no biggy if you got a rejection. They get tons of apps, so chances are slim if you don't have EXACTLY what they want - whatever that may be. I'm probably going to get a rejection letter tomorrow since it sounds like they've already selected people they want to interview...ah well.

seems like i been under review for Western University and LSU for the longest time

Western since 08/13

LSU since 07/20

AA 21/ TS 21/ PAT 20

GPA 3.7, sGPA 3.7

feel like i should call/email them to see if anything is missing but aadsas and the secondary app for both schools says "complete under review". seems like more waiting for me

Are you LA resident? On the LSU thread, they are saying that OOS interviews are done.

If you are Instate, I would call the admissions office and just make sure they have everything. Mrs. Ritchie is very nice. Just don't ask if you are going to get an interview. Just say you wanted to make sure you are complete.

I would also call Western and just ask if they have everything.

I FINALLY GOT AN INTERRRRVIEWW!! YES! YES! YES!
I had given up of getting any interview this year and then finally my status on AADSAS changed for Loma Linda. It says that I'm invited for an interview but I have to wait until I get the letter in the mail to choose my interview date. For those that have been getting interviews from LLU lately, what dates have been available? Considering it's the weekend I probably wont be receiving this letter until mid- next week.... so I want to get an idea of what dates I should be expecting.

Does anyone else have a strong dislike for people who get interviews and don't go to them--and then broadcast that fact to the world.

I do but then i tell myself may be they got time clash with another interview...

its like why apply there... if you are not gonna go to an interview.

Like the guy who got into NYU but said no to them b/c he says its not good enough for him... so he is gonna wait one more year. then why apply there?

WHAT??? Who would do that??? So many of us would love to be accepted anywhere at all! I bet the next person on the waiting list was happy for that though!
