***Official Roseman University Class of 2024 Interview/Acceptance thread***

Good luck on your interviews tomorrow. If you look at previous acceptance threads, the same person knocks the school and whines there, too. I'm a current student and couldn't be happier. I was accepted at 3 other schools and came here to Roseman. Form your own opinions when you are here. Roseman offers a lot to their students clinically and I totally disagree with what was said about the faculty. I've never had any problems here, and have worked in the field for a long time. I knew it was expensive, but am also on scholarship to help pay for it (which is totally possible)- there are lots of ways to get your dental education. Just be happy wherever you choose to go.

They are awesome! So friendly and welcoming. They stay right on schedule, so whatever time they said in the email you would finish, is almost exactly when we did. They let you practice a restoration and some digital imaging in the lab as well, very cool. The interview itself was conversational. Definitely some asked questions, but not an interrogation. Mine was a faculty and 2 students. There were about 60 other students interviewing the same day as me!

Awesome thank you so much for the info!! W the interview, I know they send some qs in the confirmation email but do they ask other qs about your app specifically? Just wondering since i see its a half hour interview

Also, in case anyone was wondering: I just set up my interview date for Nov. 15. It's the last interview date before December. They'll continue to interview in the spring, but they haven't started scheduling for those yet.

Is anyone else interviewing on the 8th? I'm planning to arrive the day before and would be interested in meeting up.
 
Does anyone know how many acceptances are offered to those who are interviewed? I can't afford the ADEA official guide right now and the info is missing from the explorer..

Is there more information in the hard copy? I got the explorer too. I have a hard copy from a couple years ago.

I'm not sure but I heard there were some major changes to the most recent edition such as it being half the size so probably not. Does the edition you have give a number?

No. It doesn’t show me how many people interviewed in state or out of state. Previous editions show that information for most schools.

Per the ASDA guide, Accepted students/applicants ratio: 2/29. Does not provide details on total applicants interviewed. Good luck!

I think it’s important to note that they probably give out more than 1/3 acceptances because there will be those that get multiple acceptances and choose another school. The 1/3 is the number of people who actually start the program, not the number who are offered a spot. Just my 2 cents

Yeah I get that. I just meant that 1/3 of those that interview will ultimately go to the school.

I blacked out during the call so I can’t remember if they said they would email us with the acceptance details? Is that true or am I imagining it lol

What is the phone number that calls you for acceptance? I get a lot of spam calls and want to make sure I'll answer lol!
