Nope. It will just be you, and one other person who is working the camera in a small room.
 
Temple is a great school. By the time your class gets to clinic it will be all re-done. Which will be nice for you, while my class is putting up with all of the changes. The clinical education is by far hands down one of the best, though it all depends on how much effort you put into it.
My advice is, enjoy your time between now and when you start in August, relax your first semester, go out have fun.

you fill in the pre-interview summary and hand it in to Ms. Terry Griffith when you arrive. She'll ask for them as well. You sit during the video statement. You can also gather your thoughts for a minute or two before starting.
 
Can you write your thoughts as points on a scrap paper while you sit there? HEHE.
 
So.... it's December 12th....any acceptances?????

I thought the questions were pretty tough. For example: You are shrunk to the height of a nickel and your mass is proportionally reduced so as to maintain your original density. You are then thrown into an empty glass blender. The blades will start moving in 60 seconds. What do you do?

I just didn't understand it. I thought I was there for a dental school interview not for a Google position. Seriously, this is the wrong thread for wanting to be walked through a Temple interview.

no one is going to give a straight forward answer about what kind of questions they give you. it is not ethically right to tell anyone specific questions about the interview. so, hope for the best and expect the worst 🙂

It is also "ethically" wrong for people like feathers to mislead people or say things to make them nervous about their interviews!

Maybe we'll hear something tomorrow! I thought studying for the DAT was difficult but this waiting game is giving the DAT a run for their money.

don't worry so much about the "interview". Temple is so laid back and Brian will laugh and joke around with you all day. appreciate the humor in feathers post i know i sure did :laugh:

Yes. It is utterly + ethically wrong for me to blatantly joke about your incessant squeezing for interview information. Guess you couldn't think of an answer for getting out of that blender. You asking for details about Temple interviews and then editing out all your questions is not cool, dude.

Agreed.
It seems dentalstudent went from lurker to poster status just to ask questions about Temple's interview. Doesn't really say a "thanks" either
 
lol. The blender question is word for word from a google interview site.
Never asked anyone direct questions, just procedures. In my initial question, it even said, "don't tell essay topic." I have given 6 interviews, and I have given advice to so many people via e-mail without telling them direct questions. There is a way to answer questions and being "ethically" correct. This site was developed to help each other, not to disrespect or scare people about their interviews!

So its after the 12th, has anyone heard today or know when the next batch may go out?
 
I just spoke to a friend of mine, didn't know he had already been interviewed at temple. He was interviewed last month and he called them to find out and they told him that his batch would be contacted soon....hope that helps.
 
so its the 13th...... any word? nothings changed since the first. Also does anybody know how many days does Temple give to respond to a acceptance letter? i.e. must say yes or no to the acceptance by such and such date.
 
first round acceptance have till jan 3 to make their initial deposit.

Just relax peep the first rounders have another couple days to send in deposits. I think it is 2 weeks. so go 14 days + 5 for generous postal delivery time and it should be next week give or take. 😉

Just got accepted! Woo Idk what I will do though. Im really excited about my next two interviews.
 
Got the email a few hours ago and I am in! I will be giving up my NYU spot in the next few days. Good luck to everyone!
