***Official Temple C/O 2015 Acceptance Thread****

I haven't heard anything either... I didn't see anyone mention it on the other thread so maybe they haven't gotten around to emailing everyone yet.... at least let's hope so lol
 
My AADSAS got changed to Received/Under Review from Invited for Interview, which apparently is nbd. According to admissions, if you interviewed close to or after Thanksgiving, the committee most likely has not reviewed your file yet, so that means Received/Under review doesn't mean waitlisted!!

ahh, still more waiting then... i wonder how efficiently they change statuses, i read that in recent years it's taken a few days for them to notify their first wave

SO is it official that all the acceptance emails has been sent out from Temple?
 
No email, but got the change to "offer made"
 
Yah i been reading more on different threads ... seems some got AADSAS or emails ... ill try to keep my hopes up till 5pm
 
I have "offer made" in AADSAS so I called Temple, said I was accepted! Yay! They also said will be sending out e-mails later this afternoon. So if your AADSAS says - offer made, you have been accepted regardless of receiving an E-mail or not. I am looking for a roomate for Temple next year, I'm a 22 yo female from Fl... If anyone else is looking for a room mate let me know please!! Thanks! I'm so excited! Temple c/o 2015!
 
so aadsas says "offer made" but i don't have an email... I'm not putting any faith into this until i know that that means "accepted". has anyone been accepted w/out aadsas saying offer made?

just wondering, for those that heard from temple or received an "offer made" status change, did you interview earlier than November? Also, did anyone out there get accepted who interviewed in November?

I interviewed there on Nov. 23 and got accepted this morning.
 
Interviewed October 5 and received an acceptance email today!
 
Has any one called Temple today to find out if they sending ALL their acceptances on Dec1 or is there some snail emails for tommorrow?
 
how long ago you got the Denied on AADSAS? Bec. i have a feeling for the next couple of hours all the official denied will be poping up on AADSAS 🙁

Are you canadian? Do you have a finiky car? If so i was at your temp interview and walked to lunch with you.... Dave. Ok either way i called them today after no news and i asked if all the acceptances went out. Jeremy told me no, and to wait until dec 12th for another wave...
 
I think I was at the same interview as you guys....Adam. Good luck, hopefully we will be future classmates! Don't give up hope.

dang i really want to hear back from Temple!
and Moose, I think you're in man, Brian was talking about you at OUR interview. He said for the nametag you could put on a nickname if you wanted to, and "this one guy, he wrote MOOSE on his!"
 
YAP I just called .... there is another wave coming around the 12th ... So I am going to keep my hopes up till I get THE "denied"

😀 YAh but i switched my name tag when I did the video to Mostafa to be more professional 😎 , I snagged an extra name tag "SHHHH".... any way there is another chance coming up... so ill try to keep a positive attitude till then and hope for the best..... GOOD LUCK EVERYONE :xf:

Hey,
I was accepted to Kornberg this week and as of right now, I am 90% sure that I'll be attending Temple. I interviewed at Temple on 10/05/2010, the first group.

Anyone for certain (or at least 80% sure) that you will be attending Temple yet? Is there an "official" class of 2015 group yet?

Im leaving the country to backpack through Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand for a few months and would like to stay in touch with the future class of 2015.
 
I was accepted on Dec 1st and I am more than a 100% sure I'll be attending Temple. I don't see a facebook group yet and there's like minimum participation on this thread so far compared to previous years. The Temple class of 2015 is either very unenthusiastic or most people aren't quite sure whether or not they will be attending Kornberg yet. Either way I can't wait to meet everyone come August. Enjoy your trip dental2015 🙂
 
First of all, congrats on getting in guys!! ... I was just wondering out of all of you guys who got accepted, did any of you think the interview went poorly ( like maybe you said something stupid in my case) I was just wondering because I still haven't heard back yet and am anxious to hear back.

It's too expensive so a lot of people that got accepted to multiple places probably won't choose Temple sadly. Give it like January and I bet this place will bumpin' a little more.

i haven't heard back yet either, when was your interview bipster? Mine was on Nov 11. Did you contact Brian as well?
 
Do we need to do the background check sent to us by AADSAS (via email) and also the one that is included in the Temple packet? Obviously the one in the packet will be done, but there's no reason to do the email one as well, right?

Edit: After logging into the Certiphi site, Temple's not on the list. Perhaps this might help someone with the same question.

Hmm... Well, my interview was at the end of October, and no I haven't contacted Brian. Did you? If yes, what did he say??
 
Hi everyone. Congrats to those of you who got accepted.

I have an interview coming up at Temple and I was wondering if you can all give me some feedback. Temple is my #1 choice and I really want to do well at this interview. Can you please answer the following questions if possible.

1) How many people interviewed you?
2) Was it a one-on-one interview, or a group interview?
3) Was the writing portion on a general topic or a clinical topic? (don't need to tell me the topic)
4) In the interview e-mail, it says that there is a portion called "video statement." What is that?
5) Do I have anything to be nervous about?
6) Were all of the questions pretty straightforward?

Please give me any advice you can. I would really appreciate it. Once again, congrats to all of you!!!! 🙂
 
there is no actual interview except while in a group you will be asked a random question by brian. but not bad at all. the day is relaxed...but at the end of the day is the video!!. i know my video was bad i was nervous and it ended weird. but i got in lol. so i think as long as you talk and say something for a few minutes why u want to be dentist u will be fine. brian kept saying they want personality but i know my video didnt have any b/c i was nervous so i dont know how important that is?? u may be tired at the end of the day so make sure u save energy for video 🙂
 
there is writing , my question was simple and i wrote like one paragraph. its to see if you can write. others i hear had weird questions, but i dont think the answer matters too much just your writing.

dentalworks couldn't have explained it any better in the link below. I read his post a couple of days before my interview and it helped me a lot. All the best with your interview

Yeah I let him know of some updated grades, and thanked him for his time. This was through email. He replied like 3 business days later, so he's a very busy man!

Yeah the video statement is a brand-new-thing, implemented just this year haha. We were shown a tour of the school, and talking to some of the D1 and D2 students currently attending Temple, they never had this video statement process.

Hey babyblue.
Yeah I was really nervous for my video too, and I should've smiled instead of keeping a straight face...I also stuttered a bit, and I think I may have screwed up bad since I haven't heard back from Temple. 🙁
When was your interview? Mine was on Nov 11, so maybe they haven't got to me yet? (hopefully?!?!)
