Okami WW Game Thread

I was, Z is saying it was a joke reference to skeleton chat, not flattery
Doesn't make it any less possible to be pocket-y. Trying to invoke nostalgia about a prior game where players were on the same side in a new game could still be a pocket strategy.

This post makes little sense to me. Straw grasping?
I like how when Dubz asked the same question you answered it without issue, but when I asked you seem baffled by it.

And I'm saying in general True does give me trouble because I see him through manator eyes
This makes sense, I appreciate that you clarified this. It rankled me seeing both you and AM on True earlier, and from what I recalled I saw little reason for it.

But I'm probably biased by the fact I didn't find Wolf True that hard to identify last game.

Still feeling rankled. Probably my default setting.

Wait, you identified me last game? That wasn't what I recall. You were on my list of "people who might help me push a misyeet on a Blocc member".

This literally contradicts what you just said here
Well, when you chop the sentence up to change its meaning like that, yeah. Idk how I feel about that. Seems too obvious to do intentionally but I still find it hard not to be sus of posts that seem to be misrepresenting someone else’s words.

WALL POST
NO SPOILERS CAUSE THEN YOU ALL DONT READ EM
Pretty sure we’re tied, no?

Also Dubz’s salt vote doesn’t count because it’s not real.

Both Zuri and your votes seem to be real. So technically I’m in the lead.

Numbers is villains
You don’t get nervous early, zenges.
Zenge's early posts are making my nose tickle and I want to see how he responds to votes on him.
It’s supposed to be your nose hairs, not your nose. It’s what makes your eye twitch.
Is “nose tickling” something that frequently happens when you’re suspicious of something?

Just trying to imagine Sherlock Holmes getting constant nose tickles…WAIT! OMG! Is that why he was always doing coke!? To numb the nose tickles?! It all makes sense!
It does for me. Nose hairs.
I mean, if that's the case and you think he's always going to think about it as a reaction test before reacting, then what value does that type of vote have? If you don't think he might consider too that there actually is some other reason for the vote since he had been posting, and react based on that assumption, then it's less useful, no?

It's not quite the same as a vote that occurs before someone posts. Those of course can't be based on anything else.

I'm not saying it's completely useless, just that the initial reaction is going to be the most valuable. I'm not even sure why that's up for debate tbh. There's a reason why people don't say "iT wAs a ReAcTiOn tEsT" until after the fact.
REACTION TESTS ARE THE BEST
and you shouldn’t say it before
Just start chaos and watch what happens.
How did you know zuri was a noob?
I like this post
Getting bad vibes from Samac's posts.

What else is new this game, lol
Good good. This is how you confirm me as village.
Eh I get the whole thing with salt votes, but feel it's starting to be overused and it's starting to feel, I dunno, lazy and like good cover for wolves to put out opportunistic D1 RVS votes especially on strong players.

Well, I guess I should support it in light of my wanting pressure applied to certain players, so I guess it depends on if ppl are using it on the low hanging misyeet fruit types.

Then again, I just sorta hate salt or RVS type votes. Not a big deal if people don't stick to them.

It would be nice if people slung real sus on each other out of the gate.
It’s been belabored since I quoted this, but early game something has to happen for the game to start. If it’s salt and how people react to that salt it’s fine.
#### yeet samac ####

Also eyeing Zenge, but not sure I want to vote with zuri yet.

Don't care for the fluff and true votes. Salt votes are bugging me. Salt votes from ww vet leaders on wolf noobs that just lost the prior game I like even less.
Fluff killed me. Bragged about it on thread as she went down. I’m allowed to have my salt.
How do you suggest people sling real sus on each other before anyone has posted?
TELEPATHY
Also you can sling pre-emptive sus by mentioning how a player is hard to read or needs pressure and starting there.

**** guys having pain gonna have to limit my posts
Where did I do that? The only early sus I saw was true -> zenge.
OK, I misunderstood and didn't remember last game well. I was going off of your joke here.

So now I like AM being there even less. And her current vote for me as well.

If AM is wolfing, it really behooves her to remove me from game early.
Really? I’ve watched you choke on AM’s fist as I died screaming to yeet her.
If she was wolfing and was going to pick one of us to get out which of us do you think she’d go for?
Opportunistic behavior and LHF (low hanging misyeet fruit) is all part of the analysis of potentially wolfy behavior and does apply this game.
Is fluff a low hanging misyeet fruit? She’s been misyeeted once. Yeeted correctly twice.

You never voted for true? He outlived you?

No, why would you say that? And why are you acting like you've never played with me before?
Okay I don’t like answering for others but the talking past each other is getting old

- you vote true initially
- cray says she feels votes by ww vet leaders on noob players (who recently lost as wolves, so clearly have no yeet armour) are opportunistic and dislikes it
- you change vote to cray for that post
- cray asks both why and why we should yeet true of fluff (I think she threw in fluff because she was interpreting your objection to this post as possibly being about her defending fluff/true)
- you say you never said anything about yeeting true or fluff (I’m still confused about this post, but I believe you were saying it just in the context of explaining why you were wolfreading her, ie that you were wolfreading her because her sympathy for noobs who just lost felt insincere, not because you thought she was defending true/fluff)
- cray is confused because you had been voting true

how this game seems to be flowing from her thoughts from the last dead chat. i feel like wolf cray would not be trying to rock that boat.
The thoughts don't make sense though. It's one thing to think post-game "bummer that wolves struggle to misyeet" versus pushing that idea this game, while alive.

Cray also has rocked the boat multiple times while wolfing, so I don't understand why you think this is outside of her range .

but not this boat. this boat is different.

and i didn't get the same message you seem to have. i thought this was about being clique-y and pushing easy misyeets. i am very interested in the apparent reversal of sentiment, as cray has been very pro-noobyeet in the past.

I didn’t get that it was about being clique-y at all? That wasn’t something I saw mentioned at all in dead chat last game. I’m confused.

No, she was talking about how it's unfair how hard it was for the wolves last game to misyeet. Then repeated it again here.

But yes, the noob defense is incredibly out of character too especially given how justified and successful it was for village last game.

then what the heck was i reading???
Maybe my eyes glazed over in the big blocks??
I just thought it was they wolves had a hard time last game and she seems frustrated and feels like we’re beating up on them?

Minor aside:

I should be looking for 3 wolves, right?

2/12 is 16.66% (repeating) which feels low, and 3/12 is 25% which feels slightly high but within reason.
