I loved my time in Stillwater. It is a pretty town and good people. I loved the clinicians and felt like I received an excellent education. The rest really doesn't matter guys. You will be good vets no matter where you go if you apply yourself. These decisions should be based on finances, proximity to family, and your goals in the end.
I went to OKState because I had family close by, the tuition was great when I moved to work for a year to gain in state, and because I knew they produced ready to practice vets as I knew GP was my goal. I originally wanted to do mixed animal, but as an older student, I recognized that wasn't feasible as my pay would be less and my body already has some wear and tear. Loved my food animal and equine rotations though. We also have two of the greatest for exotics whom I miss and still consult on cases regularly.
They also have a great NAVLE pass rate, so that is also a bonus. haha
