We are thrilled to welcome you as part of the OSU-CHS family. August will
be here before you know it! As you will all be very busy in preparation
for school in the next few months, please note the following:
Our second Admitted Student Day is coming up in June. Please note the
previously scheduled Friday, June 11th date may be rescheduled to a
Saturday date. You will be receiving official announcements with the final
scheduled date for this event very soon.
Now is the time to place your white coat order. Please contact Debra in
Matthews' Book Store on the OSU-CHS campus to give her your size
information. If possible, stop by the bookstore to try on a coat before
ordering (you are welcome to do this at the next scheduled Admitted Student
Day on June 5th). Debra can be reached by phone at (918) 699-8670 or by
e-mail at [email protected] . Note: Your full legal name (first and
last) will be printed on your white coat. No nicknames can be used.
However, if you want to go by your middle name, your first initial and
middle name can be substituted on your white coat.
Financial aid packets were mailed to all admitted students today. If you
have not received your packet by next week, or if you have any questions
regarding financial aid, please contact Sandra Hale in the Office of
Financial Aid at (918) 561-8277.

Leah Haines said:In my previous e-mail update to you, I mentioned Saturday, June 5th as the
Admitted Student Day date (in the white coat information section). This is
a date which is being considered, but has not yet been officially
scheduled.
I apologize for the error and will contact you all as soon as we have a
confirmed date.
Thanks!

Yeah, that was me. The music - medicine combo has led me to want to practice laryngology, although after a recent shadowing experience, I'm not sure if I want to do that anymore...sigh. But what about you? Your wife was pregnant, right? Has the baby arrived? If not, when is it due?kwooder said:DrCorey, I think you were at my table at lunch at asd. You study music comp, right?
Have you given me all of your karma points yet?DrDad said:we need to think about our next get together.... dates anyone?

I concur, the more the merrier...at least in most situations.DrDad said:I agree we should base it off of ASD, rather, the night of ASD... that way there will be many more people that come to the dinner....
Invite all the non-SDNer's also, but I still think that we SDNers should stick together as far as the seating situation....
Backpacker-DO2B said:I just joined the forum and wanted to let all the new DO2B's at OSU that I say hello and that if you have any questions or if you just want to drop a line I would love to lend a hand. Enjoy your summer.
Hmmm...it occurs to me that I, however, seem to have trouble, once again, with the English language...please insert a "with" after trouble.DrCoreyOSU said:Welcome! Sounds like you won't have any trouble the basic sciences!
OSUdoc08 said:Yeah I'll bring my wife and kids too......
...oh wait....nevermind.....
I'll be the guy coming alone.

OSUdoc08 said:I think we should have an SDN only dinner the night before (Friday) and then we can invite non-SDN people on Saturday night.
