If you plan on applying after your first year, then you would need to have your application in by that Dec 1 deadline. So it would be best to have undergraduate lor already done. So you aren't depending on the professors in the program since your first term ends in November. They will want to see your final grades for that fall term before writing the letter. If you plan on applying during the second year, you will have plenty of time to get them from the professors. Just reach out to them. They know you need them and it's not a big deal. For medical applications, you would still need to do everything ( send transcripts to AMMC or AACOMAS, write a personal statements, etc). The aim is always to try to submit your primary app as soon as you can so May, June, and July. If you have to take MCAT during the program, a lot of people take it in the summer but some people take it in the fall.Anyone know how applying to med school after the MS works??? For example, I assume we would be getting letters of rec from the MS program and not undergraduate. Anyone know more regarding this??? TIA
