For those who were interviewed -- how soon after you were complete did you receive IIs?

I interviewed in the first group. I believe it was 9/25. I was complete in Early July.,
 
I am sorry if this has already been asked and I missed it, but is there a fb page for accepted students yet? If not I could make one!

9/25 was when you got the offer? So a little >1 mo., perhaps. The only thing waiting to be entered for me to be "complete" is my secondary application. The letters, fee and scores have already been added. Maybe I'll be complete, soon.

When did you interview and how long afterward did you get the good news?

You're welcome! I interviewed on 9/25 and got the invite on 9/23. Receive acceptance letter in the mail on 10/7.

Wow, faster than I'd thought it would be, assuming that's typical. I haven't seen whether you've done so yet, but if you have the time, would you mind sharing your interview experience and how one might communicate that they fit with the school?

The interview day was a lot of fun. The faculty, staff and students were all very nice and were happy to answer all of my questions. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the interview was fun and conversational. It was a 2-on-1 interview and my advice is to just be yourself. I really loved the school and I'm excited to have the opportunity to attend GA-PCOM next year!

When it gets closer Aise will make an official FB page and will send you links via email for the DO program, as well as a group page for all programs at the Georgia campus.

How long after your interview did you receive an acceptance letter? I interviewed 11/13.

Has anyone heard anything from the 11/13 interview date? I have been checking my mailbox everyday and still nothing

Uhm I think I was complete in July or August if I am not mistaken so I did not think I was going to get an interview since it had been so long because I got the email to interview only like 4 days before the interview date

I'm not a DO candidate, I am a masters student, just helping out generally when I can. My friend interviewed on 11/13, she got some type of correspondence from the school today. I don't know exactly the extent of it. Two other friends are schedule to interview on 12/11.
 
Oh gosh. I'm sorry for that. I should've read your earlier posts more thoroughly. Thank you for taking the time to help us out. Very kind of you. I received my letter today. Just now arriving home after putting in 12 hrs and just staring at it...nervous about opening it. Lol.

Another data point. All I'm finding out is that it's impossible to predict when I might recieve an II. Some have said a few days, others almost 5 months 🙁

Thanks! Complete 7/30, II 11/4 (I scheduled for Nov. 13th) and found out 12/3.

Has any accepted student received a "welcome packet" in the mail??
 
This specific thread makes me anxious. Calm down, people, the turnaround time doesn't matter. They will get to you soon enough.

Not me either. It will probably come in a few months. I just got the acceptance letter with that technical standards form we must complete

I submitted my Supplemental and application fee yesterday. Now, everything is marked received except for "Pre-Health Advsr/Committee". I sent all my letters about a month ago. Is this normal?
 
@CaptRetired , would you be able to provide an estimate on when someone who was complete on 11/30 would be likely to receive an II?

Yeah, they have to look over the letter to make certain it meets their requirements. My app was complete 5 days after secondary submission.
 
Considering the volume of applications that PCOM gets, and since I just submitted my II yesterday, am I too late?
