Well, better late than never. I have been crazy busy re-studying for my MCAT retake but I got the secondary earlier this month.

Hoping to get a little underdog love @ 24 MCAT (8/7/9) 3.7 cGPA 3.6sGPA and what I believe to be good ECs. My MD letter is from an active transplant surgeon who is also the asst. dean for an MD school

foolish me submitted this secondary without copying the essay and haven't gotten an email with a copy of my application, access to a digital copy, etc so I have to retype my essay for the GA secondary 🙁

Loved the school. Definitely check it out if you ever have the chance!

Does anyone have a guess on how often they are sending or when they will send more invites? Just curious... the wait is torture! Is November mostly filled?

anyone interview 9/29 been accepted yet? they said within a month and the waiting game is horrible...

What if we interviewed monday?
Unclear. You could be lucky or absolutely screwed, in terms of your wait time. It seems like day-before interviews have historically been both included and excluded, so it's a toss up.

Hopefully we hear something from an interview yesterday, but admissions said up to 4 weeks so we may very well be pushed into the next meeting

One thing everyone should keep in mind, your application is complete, it goes to Committee for review then you send more material, the Committee will probably not see it because they may have already reviewed your file. You should send everything in at one time so the file is 100% complete before it goes to Committee. My friend said that people complete in August and continue to send things in even in December, does anyone think it is really being read?

So when it says that we will be required to send letters IF we are offered an II, we should just send the letters before we get the II?

Can anyone else confirm this?

Edit - errm I think I got schools mixed up. I am on mobile so dont want to bother logging in and viewing etc. But anyway, can you elaborate on this? What is the additional material?

You're confusing PCOM with LECOM.

You won't be reviewed until everything has been submitted for PCOM.

A lot of people will continue to send updates to schools throughout the semester with new pubs, research, grades, letters etc. and those things may not be taken back to committee if your file had been reviewed prior to submitting those updates.

Sorry, that is exactly what I meant, trying to be brief and ended up being confusing.

I've been completed since mid to late August and no word. Anyone have any idea what's going on? OOS with c3.48 and mcat of 29

I can tell you that there is a slight regional bias when it comes to who interviews first. You'll get an interview eventually. Make sure you have a DO letter and if you don't I would get that in asap.

IS hasn't helped me yet...

Not too sure about this. Plenty of IS left out, and OOS that got in early like me. I'm not even sure what their criteria is, as applicants with better stats have gotten interviews well after me ...

Well that's what I was told but who knows this process is insane good luck everyone hang in there

Accepted! Happy that such a great school wants me!
Would you mind sharing when you interviewed? I was in the 10/27 group but didn't get a letter today!

I also live halfway across the country, so I guess that could be a factor.. At least that's what I'm hoping!

Accepted on 11/03! Complete 8/10, interviewed 10/13. Ahhhh what is this life!?!? Non-trad. student with quite a few EC's in addition to full-time biomed research for the last five years. I am so incredibly excited - the school and people and everything I learned about during my interview blew me away. Feel free to ask me any questions. Good luck to everyone!

Now the real wait begins..

August is too far away.

complete august 8. not a word from PCOM yet. Sent a DO letter couple weeks ago. Should this letter appear on my portal?

Hey all! Just wondering if I could get some insight...
I submitted my secondaries to both the Philly and Georgia campuses on the same day and sent in the checks on the same day as well. I received an e-mail from the Georgia campus on October 3rd with my portal info, but have not received one from the Philly campus. It has been well over the 15 business days since I sent everything in, and saw that they cannot answer any questions about being complete via phone or e-mail...I'm just worried that something went wrong with that application, and I have given them well over the 15 days to send the "complete e-mail".

Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have a suggestion on what to do?

The portal is the same for both schools. On the home page, I have two links titled identically as "Fall 2015." One is for the PA campus and one is for the GA campus. Do you only have one link?

I do have two links, the one from Philly is missing the date for the supplemental application, while the Georgia link has the date (October 3rd). I just tried to submit the supplemental again for the Philly campus and it told me I already submitted a secondary. I'm just confused why it has not been posted on my portal yet. The ID for both campuses are the same, right?

Yes, they're the same. I'd try giving them a call.

Has anyone had any luck with getting around the letter requirement? So far it seems like they haven't. They require 3 faculty letters. I am very non-trad and finished undergrad almost 6 years ago and I have two letters from graduate professors and two letters from physicians. The physicians are school of medicine faculty and professors of medicine. They refuse to accept those because they did not give me a grade, although the requirement says nothing about that, it just says '3 faculty letters'. This school is very rude on the phone, when I asked if I can request a waiver like other schools, she said, no, you might as well not apply if you do not have a third faculty letter. Was one of my top choices but questioning that now and it appears that applying to this school was pointless to begin with.

Ugh, done with my rant.

I am also non trad and earned my BS around the same as you. I submitted 2 letters from my undergrad science professors and one from my employer. He is a professor at a university but I never earned a grade from him.

damn, I don't want to be pushed back until next meeting. Hopefully we hear something tomorrow.
They told us on interview day we should be reviewed and good, bad or indifferent we would all get a letter. Seems like the people getting acceptances have kinda-sorta been in "time order" as in the 9/29 group got letters first, then the 10/17 group etc. Here's to hoping we get some news by the end of the week!

Really, hmm that's odd. I wonder why they said this to me. I'll see if I can get someone else on the phone. Thank you!
