I submitted an update letter of some things I didn't discuss in my interview or application like presentations at conventions on more sociocultural research I completed and advocacy work I did in my state and DC. For my stats: my MCAT score was around 500, I have thousands of hours worth of volunteer work, I got a master's degree, and my direct healthcare extracurriculars were around 250 hours.
Some people get a call, some don't. I checked my portal before I went to bed and saw the 4th enrollment tab and that's how I knew i got the A. I never got a call or update email because I opened my portal before they sent their email notifications. What I suggest is literally just checking your portal once when you wake up and once before you go to bed.

Omg. Still in shock a little ~ +1 A off the WL today! I got a call this morning (which I missed by a second. I shook so much as I waited for the vm to load. They were still leaving as I tried to open it hah).
Interviewed 5/22, WL 6/13, A 7/10! Just enough time to give my job notice.

My stats were kinda low. 506 MCAT, 3.3 science and cGPA, 3.8 grad GPA (not SMP, just a MSc), 3.8 PB (but not a lot of credits and half online). Two weeks after being WL'd, I sent a letter of intent. I included what I have done since applying, which was some community stuff and some more courses (including a pre-req I still had not taken), and a new job. Let's hear it for holistic reviews 🙂

I can attest to this. There are people in my class that received an acceptance around this time, so hope is definitely not lost
idk how many people are in the groupme, but comparing the fb group to previous years (really not an accurate marker lol), I wanna say there's at least 10 spots left (delulu speaking here)

On the contrary, I know at PCOM your perseverance and determination plays a positive factor depending on your individual application of course. I applied multiple times 3+
this is my 2nd time applying, I'm hoping that they're able to see that on their end as I did mention it in my LOI. I told myself that hopefully I'd hear back by the end of the month, but now that the month's almost over it's so difficult to keep my hopes up! I'm sending my new app off for verification soon, it just sucks to possibly go another year without matriculating 🙁
