I sent a letter of interest before my I received my II and then a LOI after I was WL.

The only contact I have had with admissions since getting on the WL was submitting LOI/app update in my portal (and tossed in my updated cv at the same time bc I saw it was an option as well). I think the general consensus is to not call to ask about WL movement? We just gotta wait and hope

I think they were just behind on interviews. They didn’t have enough people to actually conduct interviews.

Change of administrative staff on admissions. There is a new chair on faculty committee this year plus next year PCOM is changing their academic calendar so that’s why they’re behind

I wonder if they sent the same generic WL email to everyone. It doesn't really matter but was wondering how they manage to review all applicant files on the Wait List, as seats become available. If their WL pool is 70 (to say a number) how do they get through all that?

Ofc it is!! That’s what a lot of us are praying for I know someone that got off the WL the first day of class. So let’s continue to remain optimistic and hopeful.

So they called me first at 9:55 am but missed that call oops and then I got the email about checking the portal at 10:33 am

The med school app cycle is literally excruciating, so it’s amazing to see everyone’s support for one another. I believe in showing love, kindness, and positivity so I’ll always continue to spread that. If the opportunity is for us then, the doors will open I’m rooting for everyone on the WL!

I heard most of the school and most admissions office staff was OOO all of last week and most of the week prior, so hopefully more movement this week for all of us since more people will be reviewing files 🙂
