question about application

hi, I am a sophomore in college and I work part time (like 13-15hrs a week) at a courthouse scanning files. I was wondering if this would look good on applications to Med schools?? If so, how much would it help me??

This is not something that is going to stand out on your application/ serve as a "Wow" factor lol. However, all experiences can contribute to your application as long as you describe them properly.

Instead of saying "I scan files at the courthouse" you can describe what you've gained from the experience (i.e. Strengthening your time management skills by balancing your coursework and your job). I would also become involved in service opportunities as well as research.

Employment is always good.

A high GPA and MCAT score along with interesting ECs that you're passionate about will help a lot more though.
