Also, I got to help with an abscess on a kitten today. First time I got to help with something like that. What are those maggot looking things that are under the skin and come up to catch air every once in a while? Well, I almost got hit in the face with one of those when I cleaned up the abscess.

Gotta admit. Grossed me out a bit since it was the first time dealing with something like that. Good thing I think parasites are interesting.

They told me if I talked to the county office, I could probably come with them to cruelty cases and help out more in the shelter over the summer. I never thought too much about working in a shelter, but it's not too bad so far. I like it. Not for a career, but maybe for future volunteering as a vet () too.

My interview weekend was actually really nice and relaxed! So good to visit my friend here. Now i'm waiting in the terminal to head back home to go straight to work until 7. Going to be a long day but at lay i'm going into it well rested!

I was a 34D before getting pregnant so um, yeah, Dolly is a good descriptor.

Next August/September he'll be up for new orders and will go shore duty for 3 years which essentially means he won't be deployable unless something catastrophic happens. So theoretically he could deploy between now and September though there aren't any deployments on the horizon as of the moment ... And I hope it stays that way!! 😀

He'll probably be going on short trips (1 - 2 weeks at a time) for different schools but that's easy peasy!

I may be getting a puppy in 5 weeks! Hopefully, a female. German Shepard/Rottweiler/Cattle dog(not sure what kind yet)
I'm a *little* worried about being at work and leaving the puppy at home for 6+ hours, but I think the dairy farm would be ok putting a kennel in the corner of the barn. Half the barn is empty anyways, and she wouldn't be anywhere near the cows.

Unless you mean you wish you were pregnant, no you don't! Huge boobs suck. They are super heavy. And mine grew like 2 cup sizes in a matter of weeks so they now have stretch marks. And I know that they are still going to get bigger. I'm kinda scared for my milk to come in.

It's my mom's birthday today! I love celebrating her birthday. She almost cried when I told her I made the scarf I gave her. My sister and I are making a lower calorie cake since she is losing weight, and I bought her flowers.

Btw, if you like lilies and the smell of evergreen, combine the two into a flower arrangement. By far my favorite holiday scent. I tried it out for the first time several years ago for my mom's birthday, and now I think of it every time the holidays roll around. Of course I had to recreate it when I saw that the lilies and the evergreen clippings were on sale!

Squeeee!! I'm getting a puppy for sure mid-January! It'll only be 8 weeks old, but they already had to start them on puppy chow yesterday. 🙁 9 large puppies and momma is starting to not keep up on milk. (it was an oops litter, they breed pure rottweilers. Daddies a Rotty, but Momma is a German Shepard/Australian Cattle Dog mix)

AGREED!!!! I went froma 36B to a 40ish D with the first pregnancy.....and when the milk came in....OMG! Those puppies didn't even need a bra! It felt like I had 2 boulders sitting on my chest...no bra needed. For sure didn't want anyone to even LOOK at them. Even the shower water hitting them hurt!😱

I had a really good day today. I got my grades finally and they were better than expected, I went to shadow for a bit and we had mostly good cases today, we had a Christmas party at work, I got to see my best friend for the first time in two weeks, and I got an interview invite!
