Apparently my boss ordered cat food for me for Christmas. Although it's adult food and mine are still on kitten food, it's still a really nice thought. Either I'll keep it until they're old enough or I might donate it to a shelter or rescue. Nice thought though. 🙂

Also, I found a website where I can order a lot of animal stuff. Their shipping is cheap and they have awesome reviews. Customers also said whenever they tried to return stuff, they got a refund and were told to donate the food etc to a local shelter, which I think is awesome! Has anyone ever used Chewy.com?

Just received a package from Afghanistan from my sweetheart!!!! 😍

Inside it were 12 boxes... And they each said....
"on the ___ day of Christmas my true love gave to me" 😍

day one was my favorite, a hand written note from him and a note from the organization that put this together for the soldiers.. Tear jerkers for sure!!

I just almost shot my boyfriend bc I was sleeping at my parent's house and he walked into my bedroom door 😱 What is he doing here? 😱 He's supposed to be in NY. He just decided to randomly surprise me even though I'm flying to see him in a week. 😍

Just a warning, their sizes run super small. I had to buy an XL in that hoodie, a L in shirts and a size up in pants. I am normally a medium in hoodies or a small to medium in tops.

That's awesome! you'll have to let us know how it is. I'm planning a trip there for the end of july, hopefully it all works out!

My rave: called and set up an advising appointment at the university near home! It's my plan B, so if I don't get in I'm thinking about getting a second bachelors there or just taking classes to boost my GPA. It just feels really good to have a solid back up plan 🙂

The one and only time I attempted to ride a pony it took off with me on it!!

I have to say, I'm a pony/small horse girl. They are just so much more tricksty than your average larger horse. I don't know I'll ever be able to get back to riding though, I've hurt my back so many times now that I don't think it's really an option 🙁. I miss it a lot though, it was the only sporty type thing I was ever good at!

i call basically everything a pony. totally incorrect, but whatevs. i don't think either of the two i would ride are actually technically ponies.

Nahh, they've just got spunk.

But I love me some big horses, too. I swear, when I finally get around to owning my own horses I'm going to have a pony with an attitude and a giant TB or Warmblood. I'm not choosing between the two.
 
I want a pony and a German Warmblood to do some high jumpers haha

I have a tendency to call any horse a pony and any dog a puppy. Technically incorrect, yes, but it's sort of a term of endearment. All the cuteness of "doggie" or "horsie" without the little kid-ish-ness.

Got our Christmas tree and put it up! Also, my dad paid me and my brother to put up the lights in front of the house. He was saying he was willing to hire someone to do it so I decided, I'll do it if you pay me...

So cool! I did MARVET in Florida and three RAVS trips while in vet school, and they were all very worthwhile. Which ones are you going to?
 
Went to the optometrist yesterday. My prescription has changed, but my eyes are getting better! I didn't even know that was possible. (Too bad my insurance won't cover new glasses until May, or I'd have cute new glasses)

So Duncan's a pony? I'm pretty sure he's actually a hell-beast in disguise. 🙄

My rave is that I am currently enjoying my vacation at home with the BF, my mother, and lots and lots of good food, chocolate, and scotch. The only downside is that I tried to buy new pants at the Gap the other day and realized that I am getting quite pudgy thanks to all the food we ate while studying for finals... time to start hitting the gym!
