Nope nothing yet. I emailed them too asking for more info about the program and didn’t get any reply which I found kind of irritating as well.

I’ve followed up with the program since my interview in September and have provided updates. I was also waitlisted in September (it’s my #1) so I’m not sure. Are you reaching out to your advisor from the RFUConnect Portal? Or someone else?

Yep I reached out to my advisor on the portal twice and the director as well. Kind of odd that no one would respond but it’s all good.

I haven't even received an interview. I've pretty much chalked it up as an L, but I called last week and they told me my application is still being reviewed. I'm remaining optimistic haha

I feel the same. Haven’t gotten an interview offer so pretty certain it’s a no. Not sure what I’m going to do as I didn’t get in anywhere else. Applying to my local PTA program even though I don’t really want to go that route.

Pretty certain we’ll get the final answer after this next interview on 2/7 because I think that is the last one they hold.

Honestly i really liked It! It was nice to focus on that instead of answers to the typical interview questions. I thought i messed up but i was accepted so i guess it went better than i expected

I know I'm a little late to the game, but do you remember any of the questions you were asked during this interview? I don't know what to expect. Will these be ethical questions? Will they be knowledge based questions? Am I expected to know how to treat a patient that comes in with certain symptoms? Or am I expected to know how to deal with sticky situations? Just a little nervous and any help would be great! 🙂

So Rosalind is all MMI and we all had to sign releases that we wouldn’t discuss any of the content or questions. Sorry :/

Does anyone from the 2/7 interview know how many students they’ve interviewed/accepted?

I believe that they currently have 40 of the spots filled out of the 51-52? they try to fill. They have currently accepted around 86 students, not including our interview group. I can't remember the exact number, but I'm pretty sure that including our group, they have interviewed either 150-160+ so far, and they have one more interview day scheduled and may be the last one. They showed us data from the previous years, and they usually accept over 100+ to fill their class. In past years, they even accepted 120-130. They also told us that they received 700+ applications this year.

Oh man as someone who interviewed in September and was waitlisted right away this stresses me out. I believe that’s more people getting interviewed than we were told how many months ago.

Thank you so much that’s really helpful!

I just got an email saying that I am invited to an open house? Is that just generic and has nothing to do with admissions or?

It doesn’t sound like it from the email I got on Friday. It said that they are now going to begin pulling students off the waitlist.
I can’t believe they’ve kept people without interviews hanging for this long. It’s been radio silence since I applied

Has anyone been pulled off the waitlist? I’ve been on it since September and am just hoping for some good news soon.

Hi Everyone, could anyone expand on RFU's interview format because I know it is a bit unique

When I interviewed there last year, the preparation felt a bit stressful based on what I was anticipating for an MMI interview from online resources. Once I was doing the stations, it really wasn't as bad as I thought. Unfortunately, I can't tell you anything about the questions that were asked because we all sign a waiver on the interview day not to disclose this information outside to anyone.

I'm not sure if you both received upcoming interviews, but the school has a link that gives just a bit more detail on their interview, which includes categories of potential questions: Common Questions

Good luck! I don't attend that school, but their campus was nice when I visited. It's next to a navy base and Lake Michigan, somewhat of a decent area but would avoid too far in the suburbs in some places since it is part of Chicago still.
