Roseman University Class of 2025 Interview/Acceptance Thread

But everyone seems to have the same complaints and heard the same bad rep from current students at Roseman. That’s enough speculation to get any student to want to be as far away as possible.
Do you mind sharing contacts of current students who say it is bad? If not publicly, via PM. Maybe their instagram handles?

There are lots of people from the admissions board who are fake sdn members lol so no I won’t be sharing any info on the “3” students who mentioned how horrible the school was. I wouldn’t want their advice toward my education to land them on the dean or even the admissions bad side.

i feel as long as you’re a driven & innovative individual, any dental school will allow u to succeed. i don’t think three student’s opinions should weigh too heavily. but thanks for your input!
I spoke to many students currently at Roseman who love their school and are doing really well so I completely agree with you

Hey everyone, answering your questions here:
1. I interviewed this past Friday, 1/29
2. Nope, never waitlisted. App was submitted June, DAT taken in September
3. My AADSAS status currently says offer made. I don't know if it changed before the call 🤷‍♂️ I don't really check it very often

And since people are probably going to message me about my stats here you go: 3.4 cGPA, 3.1 sGPA, 18AA, 17TS, 21PAT. 2000+ hours dental experience or so idk. Worked as dental assistant for a couple years

Congratulations! Did you send a letter to thank the interviewer ? And if yes what email did you send it to ?

Got the call today, a couple hours ago!
For those who were accepted, did you receive an information packet (mentioned in the Acceptance Letter) through postal mail or also through email? Trynna figure the vaccines/immunizations stuff out since I wasn’t born in the US (I know I got all the needed shots done) but I don’t know if I need to request the record, from where to request them from or even which vaccines are needed besides Hep A and B as stated.

I was accepted 12/15 but haven’t received anything through the mail so far. I‘ve been able to complete required paperwork through the portal. They did mention that they will be sending vaccine/immunization information and requirements i believe this month or next. The checklist says that Immunizations are due 6/1/2021.

I'm also accepted into Tufts. May I ask why did you choose Roseman ?

It’s nothing against Tufts, heck , I developed super awesome relationship with them...I’ve met some of the admissions committee in person, had personal meetings with them, spoken with current students. They have a great program. The school is great. Cost of living is just a bit too high for my family and I. Plus, I have family in Utah (possible support system?-kinda double edged sword too though)and I actually own a newly built condo in Utah 25 minutes from school (a bit of a commute, I know) with a super low mortgage that I’m planning to refinance now that the rates are super low, so my mortgage will hopefully be even lower. That and a few other personal reasons that I can share with you privately if you’d like. But again, Tufts is a great school, Roseman is just a better fit for my family and I.

Congrats!! when did you interview?
January 22nd! I got really nervous/felt alittle defeated after December. They sent me the invite on January 7th. I was really getting ready to reapply the third time. My stats aren't that great, but they really do look at other factors. cGPA 3.58/sGPA 3.48 (sGPA much lower in my Texas app lol). You can message me for DAT stats because they were low lol.

legit was in the same boat. I'm a Texas resident and originally was hoping for in-state, but as soon as I realized how bad TMDSAS screwed my science GPA I knew there was no shot 🤷‍♂️ Thankful for AADSAS! lol

No, it was after I was accepted and I sent my deposit. They informed me of paperwork that needed to be completed and sent a checklist. She told me not to worry about the vaccinations at that time and there would be emails coming with that information. I just got an email today actually about immunizations and what is needed and the timeline.
