I just don't need village numbers to go down even more tonight if you are in fact villager, and I have a strong suspicion there's not just one wolf left, meaning there must be another option out there that isn't you even if you are wolf.

My bad, I skimmed and saw Nas. The fact that you said "The wolves were STILL able to kill Nas" made me think (just by reading this post and without other context) that you meant you attempted Nas but couldn't then the wolves did anyway.

So here's the thing: I'm actively convinced that TEM is a wolf playing a long game here, and they're very good at it. I am not sure that I'll be able to convince all of you to see it my way.

But here's the thing: even if TEM is village, they've proven multiple times to be incredibly destructive to the village numbers - even when they may have good intentions (and I don't think they do, I think they're saying that because that's what someone pretending to be village would say). If TEM is actually village, they still act extremely wolfy by decimating our numbers. Intentionally or not.

The only way I'd be comfortable not yeeting TEM tonight is if they guaranteed they wouldn't use their ability again, because our numbers are getting very low and it's clear that they can't control their ability the way they thought they could.

Going to do a deep dive on bread now and see what their post history looks like since I think there has to be at least one more wolf out there in addition to TEM.
 
I'm happy to guarantee I won't use it (I literally can't anyway, but even after resting I can chill). I suspect there is a clever wolf hiding in plain sight, but I can also guarantee it's not me.

I agree wholeheartedly with what I bolded.

I'm okay not yeeting TME tonight because they shouldn't be able to use their ability. They have to rest after last night. That means we're safe tonight, but not necessarily tomorrow.

I haven't been doing a post history search, but I made a document of all the votes everyone alive did. Based on just this, the only people currently alive who voted for Vis that night are Bread and Hallowman. Therefore, I'm inclined to believe that these two are not wolfs, especially since we have confirmation by samac that Hallowman isn't wolf, and idk about Bread but because Vis was our first wolf kill, I would be surprised if a wolf voted for Vis.

I wouldn't be. Once it got to the point where it was clear Vis was going to be yeeted, I would think that would be a very smart move for a wolf to make; bus Vis to take suspicion off themselves.

Lumya also voted for Bread on D3 and D4, and while this may be a tactic to draw attention away from herself I don't believe there could be a reason why a wolf would vote for a fellow wolf two days in a row.

Y'all have made it clear that you don't like bandwagoning, given how much my early voting history has been held against me. This was clear bandwagoning - onto MY bandwagon, which I've already acknowledged was a mistake but explained my reasoning for going for books.

Samac never confirmed this and now is dead so we'll never know if this is true.

Just seems like it could be wolfy pivoting to bussing a wolf when it was clear that was the direction the tide was going. I think it would be a really smart wolf move to occasionally diversify their vote onto someone who wasn't getting a lot of yeet votes to avoid the bandwagon thing - particularly if that person then later turned out to be a wolf. They can point back and say they were suspicious for a while.

I'm doing a deep dive on mammal's posts now. I think just looking at voting records is a good starting point, but helps to have some context too.

At the moment, I'm leaning toward bread, but I'm not going to change my vote until I'm sure.

oh whoops that's a formatting issue on my end then, not an intentional color change. I think it's because when I copy pasted onto my screen it accidentally changed april to match a color from the previous line and I changed it back to white (font color on my screen) forgetting that it wouldn't look that way for everyone

I think this was an accident, there was confusion between Vis and kras.

When Bread voted for Vis, there were only 3 votes on Vis and 3 votes on Nas. It's true kras and Samac had both voted for Vis at that point, but I definitely wouldn't call this late switch as there was definitely wiggle room on who would have been yeeted that night.

Luckly i have been walking the line of being considered a wolf because why would a wolf target someone that can be easily voted out. I feel like now you may be a wolf either laying the seeds to my being yeeted so I dont need to be targeted at night.

If anything, I would say both Hallow and mayo were the last few who switched their votes onto Vis. Hallow is confirmed 3p, and vetschool is sus of mayo for some reason so I'm inclined to lean that direction if anything.

Alright hi everyone
So I accepted 2 double shifts in the next 2 days, and I've decided to put myself directly in the line of fire for the remaining wolves.
I'm batman, and my ability was to investigate a player each night.
I waited until almost 5pm California time (go ags) to tell you all today, based on the advice of my manator + my work schedule. My manator suggested I wait until near the end of the day so that conversation could happen that could give y'all information in the days to come.
Every time someone mentioned they heard a beeping overnight, it was me outside of their door with a Bat Scanner.
Night 1: I was in the ER irl, so needless to say I did no sleuthing.
Night 2: I investigated lawpy. lawpy is a villager. as of night 2
Night 3: I investigated biomajor. As we all know now, they were villager. This gives me a bit of support now, if you go back to the day biomajor was yeeted I was doing everything I could to get the vote off of them without casting suspicion on myself.
Night 4: I investigated M935. As of this night, they were villager, soon to be cult.
Night 5: I decided to investigate alleycat because I thought the reflection would tell me what they were, and tell them what I was. I was wrong, it reflected back and let me know that as I suspected all along, I am indeed a villager. (dun dun dunnnn)
Night 6: It got interesting. I attempting to investigate TME. I think TME was attempting to do something to alleycat because I accidentally scanned alleycat with the bat scanner and got results back that I was a villager
Night 7, last night: I investigated mayo, because I was at a loss for who was a wolf and I picked randomly. My bat scanner does not lie (unless that's some weird game mechanic) and mayo is a WOLF.
You guys NEED to yet mayo tonight, and look into anyone that has come to their defense or that they've defended.
I frankly am a terrible judge of what's sus and what's not, so I have no wolfy reads on anyone to give.
I've color-coded who is innocent and who isn't, as well as the only other helpful information I have.
I'm like 10000000% getting murdered by wolves tonight (unless there were only 3!) so I wish you all luck in finding the last ones village. I adore you all, and this has been such a fun addition to my winter break!

If I remember correctly, TME was blocked by vapor that night. I wonder if the person with the redirect ability redirected your scan to alleycat?

This is interesting. I believe you, but as random said I was blocked by vapor from killing Vet01. If I had tried to target alley, that would have presumably ended very poorly for me.

It's possible that the same power that brought me to samac somehow switched you to alleycat? or some effect of the vapor. I imagine that will all become clear at the end of the game when we know all the existing powers, but for now I'm confused.

Some characters had an ability to disguise themselves as their non-selves, I think one of the wolves had that (I can't remember). However, I doubt that a disguise would say that they're actually a wolf, so I think I will believe you. For me, voting for mayo goes against everything I believed in the first few days, but I see no reason to not believe you.

Night 6: It got interesting. I attempting to investigate TME. I think TME was attempting to do something to alleycat because I accidentally scanned alleycat with the bat scanner and got results back that I was a villager
Night 7, last night: I investigated mayo, because I was at a loss for who was a wolf and I picked randomly. My bat scanner does not lie (unless that's some weird game mechanic) and mayo is a WOLF.
You guys NEED to yet mayo tonight, and look into anyone that has come to their defense or that they've defended.
I frankly am a terrible judge of what's sus and what's not, so I have no wolfy reads on anyone to give.
I've color-coded who is innocent and who isn't, as well as the only other helpful information I have.
I'm like 10000000% getting murdered by wolves tonight (unless there were only 3!) so I wish you all luck in finding the last ones village. I adore you all, and this has been such a fun addition to my winter break!

Convenient timing. I have a resident meet and greet for my interview tomorrow starting in 3 minutes.


This is the same thing we do every single night. Late players who don't even bother to vote most days drop in with a convenient story and force a last minute waffle to out a villager.

When I flip village. Please go back and read what I've been saying for a whole week. We are so close to turning this thing around.

I'm batman, and my ability was to investigate a player each night.

Night 4: I investigated M935. As of this night, they were villager, soon to be cult.
Night 5: I decided to investigate alleycat because I thought the reflection would tell me what they were, and tell them what I was. I was wrong, it reflected back and let me know that as I suspected all along, I am indeed a villager. (dun dun dunnnn)

I'm so confused by this admission. I only got messages after night 5 and night 7 that somebody used an ability on me. Shouldn't I have gotten a night message after night 6 since vetsplz scanned me?

'scuse you I've been pretty active the whole game (admittedly not the MOST active at all times, esp. not today but I had work today and I specifically addressed that)

Maybe being scanned is somehow different than an ability - did you get any mention of beeping in the writeup?
 
A thought - when samac's pm came to me instead of Lawpy, I assumed it was because he died, so it got randomly redirected to someone else. But that night I ALSO was offered bandages and tinctures, which we know was samac's power now. I was confused as to why it came to me because I didn't think I was in much danger, but it would make sense if samac tried to use it to keep lawpy alive for a conversation. I don't know that anyone can confirm this unless she told someone else what she did, but that is in interesting theory that would line up with these redirecting powers (except for the fact that he still died, and that wasn't redirected... so idk)

This was me! Night 5 results!
 
I can confirm from notes I took earlier in the game that Lawpy was scanned on N2 and biomajor on N3, based on the beeps. I didn't keep up with those notes though, I can't recall if anyone has mentioned beeping since
