Greetings!

I've been working steadily through my secondary applications and most of the questions have been easy to come up with a subject/theme for. I have one question however that has me stuck. For my secondary application to the KU School of Medicine one of the essays is " As a student, what is unique or special that you would bring to KU School of Medicine?"

I've already written about being a female football player on otherwise all male team, overcoming severe depression/PTSD, working as teen leader in my home town and state, working for a neurology specialist in MS, why I want to attend KU as an OOS applicant and being very involved in an organization devoted to recreating the middle ages (armored combat, fingerloop braiding, running regional events, etc). What the heck do they want for this essay? I'm totally stuck about what to talk about.

Can anyone give me an idea as to what they are looking for in this question or how you have/would answer it? This is the last one I need before I can submit!

Thanks!

Ambam
P.S. you may PM if you prefer.

well.. put all of those experiences together and with those in mind, talk about the unique perspective u will bring to the school, and how you will be able to contribute different ideas and help your peers/colleagues.. whatever. i think they want to know what u will do to contribute to ur class.
