I just got my banner ID today, I was accepted off the waitlist May 2.
Update, I have my banner ID but was unable to claim me eID. Spoke with the IT desk and they noted it could take a few days and advised me to follow-up on Friday (5/16) if it still is not working

I've been trying to get into the FB, but no one has let me in haha. So there might be others in my situation.
Have you still not been let into the FB page? I got accepted May 2nd and they still haven't accepted my request to join the page. Wondering if the same thing is happening to anyone else.

Still nothing haha. If anyone on here could reach out on the FB group to see if someone could let us in that would greatly appreciated!

to whoever got accepted can you pls mention the email time so we can determine if all decisions came out at once or if we can expect more throughout the day

Does anyone have groupme and fb invite links? I got accepted but did not know where to look

Congratulations to all the recent acceptances! I’m an MS3 at VCU, feel free to dm me with questions.

anyone know if there is an admitted students day for those who just got accepted?

Do you need a car there? How do you like it so far?
I personally did not have a car for the 1st and 2nd year, but downtown Richmond is a food desert, so it might be helpful to have one. I just got rides from my friends for everything. I bought a car for 3rd year because you have to go to the Richmond VA frequently for rotations, and for rotations like FM and OB/GYN where they might send you to different locations around Virginia. One of my classmates is planning on ubering everywhere for third and fourth year (lol)

I personally really like it! The faculty are all nice and supportive and my classmates are pretty much all nice. The overall environment is collaborative, and the pass/fail preclinical curriculum relieved a lot of the stress I would have had. I've made a lot of friends and have never felt overwhelmed by the coursework or stress. That isn't to say that it's been easy, but I've been able to balance sleep, school, and social life well

Thank you! that was super helpful. Do you know if we are able to get instate tution after a year?

Did anyone who got accepted recently get into the facebook group? I tried sending a screenshot/requested to join the group but is still pending

how many people are in the groupme so far?
There are 132 people but I’m counting at least 15 M1s so 117? I know many people are having a hard time getting into the Facebook to get the group me link though so that may be skewing the numbers. Although, many managed to get into the chat this weekend after the school visit it seems!
