VCU requires both FASFA and the CSS profile. When I filed my FASFA I didn't need any parental information. The CSS profile requires parental information. It requires quite a lot of information from both you and your parents.

In previous years they had movement on several days back to back to id be very surprised if they dont have movement this week.

Does anyone know if selecting "I accept" is binding? I am waitlisted at my top-choice school and don't want to give up my waitlist spot. Does selecting I accept on the VCU portal mean I have to withdraw from the other waitlists? I have already selected PTE on CYMS portal.

I don't believe it is binding, you are allowed to stay on other waitlists until July 1st (their CTE deadline). The "I accept" just means you now hold a spot at the school.
