Heard from PRIME but on the waitlist. Many others have been accepted already.

Yeah I’m pretty sure the “-accept” means that you accepted being on the waitlist.

Not to be a downer... but where's the WL movement? Also, if I'm getting this right from the UCI SOM website, they accepted 273 and matriculated 114 in 2024, so theoretically, ~170 students had to have turned down their offer for them to start pulling from the waitlist. Time to move on and touch grass

The 273 accepted students includes those pulled of the waitlist.

have not heard anything, also waiting trying not to lose hope. It does seem late though, but I did see II were sent early may too.

From previous years, they were sending offers off the waitlist until late June so there's still time!

Bit the bullet and contacted them… not good news. :/ Basically there’s limited movement in the cohort, so they haven’t started reviewing waitlisted applicants. She did say to be patient, as they can start reviewing candidates anytime between now and August

I’ve called before and the person who picked up knew nothing about the waitlist and told me to email, which is what I did^

You have to send an email through the portal though

I think if they do, it would be after their CTE deadline which is like July 15 I think. IDK I just hoped they would let us know soon

I believe if you CTE somewhere you are expected to remove yourself from all waitlists. And even if you don’t, a school won’t pull someone off who has CTE somewhere else. At least that’s what I’ve been told
