Has anyone that applied to South Alabama received a secondary yet? I was sorting through my spam email today and found a couple of apps in there, and I just want to make sure that I haven't missed any over the last few weeks that I've been verified.

I applied to 19 schools and have received 18 secondaries. The only one I'm waiting on is USA's. I thought maybe I got screened because I'm a Florida resident, even though they grant residency to the area of Florida where I live. I may call them today to find out what's going on.

I got my secondary a while back... it was later than the rest - but probably Mid-August. I completed my file yesterday with the arrival of my last LOR.

Crossing my fingers for an interview! (I'm OOS too...)

Should I call to find out about interviews - has anyone gotten one yet? Anyone that's been accepted in the past - interview invite snail mail like everything else? Gah, it makes the process so slow!

Thanks - any idea the time frame or do you remember how late it was when you got an interview? I know it's still very early, but I've gotten a couple interviews set up already... and I don't want to miss out on this one!

I don't believe that USA has any essay questions...at least they didn't in years past.

I talked to South on the phone and they are sending interview invites through the mail today. They went ahead and told me that I would be receiving an interview.

Nope, and it's maddening! I plan to frantically check my mailbox as soon as I leave from work!

I called South yesterday to check my status. They told me Wednesday is not a good day to call since it's Interview Day. Yea, like that made me feel any better...

I called for a status check - didn't get an answer. I assume they are on the other line.

Anywho, I left a message with my AMCAS ID, Name, Phone #, and part of my social, and hopefully they will call back with an update (or rush me an email.. that'd work too! ha).

After an email AND a phone call though, I don't want to keep aggravating them (and get nixed from the list!)

I assumed that everyone that was IS received a secondary from them, like at UAB, but maybe I'm wrong. hmmm....I just don't know.

OK, I'm definitely trying not to stress then. If they are moving this slow IS, I may not see an interview til Christmas.

I turned around my secondary and last LOR right before Gustav. I think 8/31 is when interfolio sent my last LOR.

Finally got through to SOMEONE via email. Unfortunately, she wasn't the right person to talk to and redirected my request to Mark Scott.

I emailed him on 9/18 and called on 9/30ish.

Emailed again though. I'd just like to know my file was complete!

idk if this helps, but i'm not EDP and have my interview at USA next week... took forever tho to find out, and got the invite via email.

Same here. I'm OOS and I think had my seconary and letters in around 7/15. I didn't get any indication I was complete until I received a really terse interview invite. Apparently, I should be expecting some more info about the interview via snail mail but I haven't received it yet. And, I'm interviewing next week.

Just curious did everyone hand write it, or has anyone had luck scanning it as a PDF file and printing only the form fields directly onto the application. I have horrific handwriting (as most MD's) and feel like it may detract from my app. I was also thinking typwriter but I don't know anyone who has one anymore.

No one answered this directly about this years secondary yet, so I was hoping whether anyone can let us know what the essays/questions are for this app.
