but as a vet of this game, shouldn't jboo know not to role reveal D1? i thought this was like, commonly accepted as a bad idea? and instant sketch if you role reveal with a PR D1 especially?

Not necessarily, if you're in danger/leading. Only doing it unprovoked is problematic.
