I just need to know if this is doable with my other course load. Also I have already taken chemistry and Aced it (I actually really liked it and even tutored others)..it just didn't transfer to my current university. But yea I am rambling just want some opinions on the statistics and calculus thing along with my other courses also I work part time.

I found Intro Statistics to be a joke (ended up with a 100+ average). The material isn't difficult, as long as you can keep up with your assignments and put in a bit of study time.

As somebody who took Organic in my first semester, I suggest that you hit the ground running. It won't be like General Chemistry and that's something to know in advance.

Cell Biology is called Cell Hell where I'm at; and it's with good reason. It's a hard class unless you know what you're getting into.

If you have a solid work ethic, it's possible. But you don't have to do this every semester, you know. College can be fun too.

If you can't juggle all of it, don't crash your GPA trying. You can get the ECs later. And please don't take three science classes every semester. You'll get plenty of that in med school. Good luck!

All those classes would be manageable, but graduate level physiology would be a waste of time. I know you're joking, but that's my perspective. I encountered a similar courseload before. It's doable, but I despise taking a bio course with this.

Nope, I don't have to do real analysis. I don't think they offer it to UG and I'm not even sure if we have in our MS program because it's for Math education.

Lol Agent B my Calc II class had 13 people in it and we were the only section. And the Biochemistry people have to take it.

IMO any class you don't have to go to much that's a free A is worth it. If 2 hrs/week can get you 3 credits of A, that's time better spent than 2 hrs/week pulling a hard class from A- to A in gpa terms. Plus depending on the dept, it might add to sGPA too.

I noticed some people having 13-14 credits per semester. 😕 My pre-med adviser told us that we absolutely need to have 16-18 credits every single semester if we want to look like serious applicants. (This is a lady who gets paid for the kids she can get into medical school.) My freshman fall semester I was in the hospital the first week and only had 14 credits to sort of help me recover. But aside from that I've had 16-18. (In fact, this semester I'm supposed to have 19... Just how it worked out.)

I'm just wondering. Because getting a 4.0 with 14 credits was a walk in the park. It's not quite a walk in the park with 18. 😏

Well, you do have a lot of science classes, so it depends on how difficult the classes are... The first semester doesn't seem too bad since you're taking three, but the other two seem intense. At least you're taking the mcat after you're done with school.
I think if you focus and study hard, you can do it. But if you're worried, I'd modify the spring semester...maybe switch the English with a science? Idk, just a suggestion.

Well, at my school, we used to be on a 4 credit system, so the average was between 16-20. But now, they just changed it to 3 credits, so a lot of people have to take 5 classes to get 15, which is the number of credits you should at least have...so I guess it differs from school to school.
I've never taken more than 4 classes a semester; the most credits I've taken we're 17, and that was when I was on a 4 credit system. This semester, I'm taking 15, but still 4 classes because of lab credit. I considered taking another elective for my major, but my advisor said 15 was enough.
