So if I can tell that other SDN'ers have received an interview invite that have a mail out date past mine is it safe to say that MW has most likely moved on from my app and I will not receive and interview from them?
I have other interviews, but I was really hoping for a MW interview.

Also I have heard that MW completes all their interviews in February...can anyone else substantiate this?

Chances for everywhere are always slimmer come February, that said, four of my classmates including myself all interviewed on the same day the first week of February last year, some got accepted that same day, some much later on... I think there may have been 1 or 2 interview dates in early to mid-March, but I don't think that is necessarily an every year thing.... best of luck
 
So I haven't heard about an interview or a rejection yet... my DAT scores were the last thing sent in and that happened on Aug 31st. The rest of my app was mailed in with the 5th batch. I have average stats and DAT scores. Do you think my chances are pretty slim of getting an interview?

No..... I'd start sweating come January... even then there's always a chance
 
I'll be flying in on 10/29 to Phoenix.

If you're interviewing on the 30th as well, hit me up if you want to meet up for dinner the night before!

Just wondering what you guys think about sending thank you notes... I have heard that dental schools like it, but I have also heard that dental schools are annoyed by it...

any thoughts would be helpful
 
Does anyone know if there will be an essay for the interview.
 
Anyone interviewing on the 27th? I'm guessing it's the last pre-dec interview :O kinda nervous

I'm so nervous for this Saturday!! (for those of you that have interviewed, they did say they will call us on Dec 1st about the first 70 seats right?! I don't want to be waiting and freaking out for nothing! haha)

Yupp that is what my interviewer told me as well he said that they would call on Saturday to let you know that you should be expecting an acceptance on the 3rd 🙂.... I'm really nervous I loved the school!

Oh my!!! I was in the first group to interview!! Hopefully Dr. Zais have not forgotten about me! =(

I think you'll be fine! Dr. Zais was super cool he was my interviewer also 🙂
 
We essentially only have 1 more day till the acceptance phone call.... I'm so nervous omgfdlksjfafl
 
Are they really doing phone calls on Saturday instead of waiting until Monday? I thought that would be against the policy? Anyone know?

I remember reading somewhere on SDN that ADEA sent all dental schools an email reminder to not send out acceptances until Dec 3rd sometime in November (if I remember correctly)

hope you don't mind me butting in put I interviewed here on Tuesday lol and that's what my interviewer said :/
 
Did you get an email or did they update your status on ADA?

I interviewed September 12th and just got the call from Dr. Polk at 7:30 this morning Arizona time.
 
Received a call from Dr. Zais around 8:30 cst telling me I'm in and check my portal. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like my portal is updated yet. I assume I'm still in? haha
 
Dr. Polk told me the portal would not be updated until Monday.
 
Are you all from the east coast? I think I remembered the adcom saying that theyll start from the east going towards west. Just waiting over here!
 
I live in Arizona and I got my call at 7:29 am. That would have made it 8:29 am CST. There is only a 1 hour difference this time of year.

I just received a call from Dr. Polk about 15 minutes ago. He said to check the portal on Monday for some "interesting" information regarding admissions to Midwestern. I assumed that meant I'm in, but for those that have said you've been accepted, did they just tell you flat out?

Dr. Polk told me I would see some "good news" on Monday and welcome aboard. I am sure you're in I wouldn't worry.

I just got a call about 15 mins ago! 10:35am central time!!!!! 🙂 yay Dr. Polk!!!! He offered me a seat! He also said the portal will be updated monday!
 
I got my call from Dr. Polk today at 7:20 Arizona Time! Soooooo excited! Im in state

Got a call from Dr. Zias this morning at 7:30 AZ time!!! I thought they were not calling until Monday so it was a complete surprise. This school was my first choice so im so excited.

Call from Dr. Zais this morning with an offer as well! I thought I did horrible on the interview so this was a surprise. Def in my top two! 🙂
 
Me too guys, definitely one of my top picks...this is a school that puts its students first!
 
So excited! Got the call from Dr. Polk early yesterday morning! Interviewed on 11/27 🙂🙂🙂
