Damn. Just wondering, Did you guys get in anywhere else? Cause they made us write who interviewed/accepted/declined us in the morning. Maybe that plays a factor.

Good luck to everyone regardless.

Anyone interview recently that got accepted immediately and not waitlisted?

I think they wanna make sure you will accept the offer before they send it. At this point they are trying to fill the class and they would look for people who might have no other interviews or other offers.

I don't think the class is full yet.

Last year I recall being told that the class was full on April 30th. I know it doesn't apply in this case, but still I am getting desperate.

I remember going through last year's feed and seeing people get off the waitlist in July/Aug. But I'm not too sure either. I hope the class isn't full yet haha

Dont give up guys! Make sure to keep emailing and even visiting if possible! They really stress interest is key.
I just got my acceptance last week after being on the wait list since early February.

Congrats to those who have gotten accepted and for those who have been waitlisted: stay hopeful! The waitlist moves A LOT through the summer and the class is constantly changing.

If you're looking for a place to live, Stuytown is a really nice place and 5-15 minutes from school depending on which apartment you choose. You can get a $500 rent credit if you say I referred you (and I'll get a $500 rent credit too so win-win!). Shoot me a message if you want to work something out or have any questions from a D1-almost D2 at NYUCD. Every penny counts especially if you choose to attend NYUCD $$$$

For those attending, arent you guys nervous about the loans you will be taking?

Yes and no. For me dental school was my ultimate goal, so I know I have the support to pay it off eventually. Yes, it may take 15-20 years, but it will happen at some point. Just have to have faith and a positive attitude! Just have to be fiscally smart and responsible.

My friend works in finance and said with debt over half a million $$ plus interest will not just take 20 years to pay off but even 30 or 40. You could be around the age of 60 by the time you've paid it all off.

Again, you have to be smart about it. I was also a finance major in college so I know what I am getting into. Trust me. I plan on living like a student and with my parents after graduation. I don't intend on getting married nor living on my own until I have paid off at least HALF of my debt. Yes, interest sucks, but if there is the will then there is a way.
